The invention relates to a packaging made of rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, of the tray or tray type, provided with sidewalks.

Such packaging includes a bottom, generally rectangular, walls erected with respect to the bottom, and in general two sidewalks raised relative to two respective opposite walls to protect the packaging and its contents when several similar packages are stacked.

There are packaging types of trays or trays suitable for automated volume setting of the walls. These packages generally include flaps hinged at the ends of two opposite walls and glued to the respective adjacent walls.

Other packages are arranged for manual mounting of the walls.

In particular, ledges can help keep the walls erected between them. Two overlap elements are articulated to two respective opposite walls, each by a fold line opposite the fold line articulating this wall at the bottom. Holding flaps, articulated to the adjacent walls, are received between the ledge elements and the corresponding walls.

Each cover element defines protuberances received in recesses defined in the bottom in order to lock the cover element in the folded position against the wall.

These packages may include end flaps hinged to the ends of the sidewalks by fold lines perpendicular to the fold lines hinging the sidewalks to the corresponding walls.

In the same way as for the covering elements, protuberances defined by these end flaps are received in corresponding recesses defined in the bottom of the package to lock the sidewalks in position parallel to the bottom.

Such packaging, known as a tray for mounting by return of the edges, is set in volume completely manually, the operator locking the ledges then the sidewalks by inserting the protuberances of the ledge elements then of the end flaps in the corresponding recesses.

However, the quality of the sidewalk locking can vary from one packaging to another. Indeed, a protrusion of a shutter can prove to be difficult to insert insofar as, during the folding of the end shutter, this protrusion is likely to go along the corresponding recess if the shutter is too folded relative to the sidewalk and / or to crash into the bottom.

The protuberance can then, in particular in the case of a relatively thin corrugated cardboard packaging, have a lesser thickness, which can compromise the quality of the locking.

Packages are also known in which the folds are articulated to the adjoining walls by double fold lines, sufficiently distant from each other so that recesses are defined between these fold lines, and in which and the flaps. end of the sidewalks fit into these recesses. However, in addition to the fact that this arrangement imposes constraints, in particular on the retaining flaps, which are likely to reduce the retaining of the walls, the operator is forced to force on the end flaps during insertion into these recesses, which risks degrade the flaps and reduce the locking.

There is therefore a need for packaging of the tray or tray type allowing manual locking of the sidewalks more reliable.

Packaging is offered in rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, comprising:

- a polygonal background,

- walls articulated by fold lines with respect to the bottom and erected with respect to the bottom, - for at least one of the walls, called the first wall, advantageously for two first walls opposite to each other, a sidewalk element articulated to this first wall by a fold line opposite the fold line articulating this first wall at the bottom, this sidewalk element being raised relative to this first wall above the bottom, so as to form a sidewalk,

The packaging defines, for at least one second wall separate from said first wall, at least one, advantageously two, cut in this second wall or in a flap superimposed on this second wall, for example a flap hinged to a wall by a line of folding.

The packaging is arranged so that the end flap hinged to the sidewalk element cooperates with, for example by being inserted at least partially in, a corresponding cutout of the packaging to lock the sidewalk element.

Thus, the end flap cooperates with an element to which it is superimposed, namely the second wall or a flap superimposed on this second wall, and not with a bottom in a plane normal to the plane of the end flap when the in volume.

The thickness of the end flap is therefore less decisive for locking than in the prior art.

In addition, this arrangement can limit the forces exerted on the flap during locking, so that the end flap can be less damaged than in the prior art.

The locking of the sidewalks can therefore be carried out more reliably than in the prior art, and this without sacrificing the robustness of the locking.

The invention allows volume and locking of the manual sidewalks, which can prove to be advantageous in that the filling of the packaging can be facilitated when carried out before the sidewalks are folded above the bottom. In general, manual installation of sidewalks can provide more flexibility in the preparation of packaging.

The walls can be placed in volume manually, with, for example, overlapping elements, or automated, with, for example, bonding.

In one embodiment, the packaging may comprise, for at least one of the second walls, and advantageously for two opposite second walls, flap superimposed on each second wall.

This central part can slightly bend due to the forces exerted by the bottom, in particular in the case of an embodiment made of a compact material, again offering a space for receiving part of the end flap and / or a stop edge for the edge of the shutter which is easily accessible.

The packaging can define a fold line extending between two partitions, thus making it possible to articulate at least a portion of the central part relative to the rest of the covering element. Claims (11)

Claims 1. Packaging (1) in rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, comprising: - a polygonal background (2), - walls (10, 11, 12, 13) articulated by fold lines (101, 111, 121, 131) with respect to the bottom and erected with respect to the bottom, - for at least one (10, 12) of the walls, known as the first wall, a sidewalk element (20, 22) articulated to this first wall by a fold line (201, 221) opposite the fold line (101, 121) articulating this first wall at the bottom, this sidewalk element being raised relative to this first wall so as to form a sidewalk, - For at least one sidewalk element, at least one end flap (202, 203, 222, 223) articulated to said sidewalk element by a fold line (204, 205, 224, 225) not parallel to the line of fold (201, 221) articulating the sidewalk element with the first corresponding wall (10, 22), in which for at least one of the walls, called the second wall, distinct from said first wall, the packaging defines at least one cutout in this second wall or in a flap superimposed on this second wall, and the packaging being arranged so that the end flap cooperates with the corresponding cutout to lock the sidewalk element. 2. Packaging according to claim 1, wherein the packaging comprises a flap superimposed on the second wall, characterized in that this flap is a covering element (21, 23; 21 ', 23') articulated on the second wall by a fold line opposite the fold line articulating this second wall at the bottom, and this overlap element defines said at least one cutout (30, 31, 32, 33; 30 ', 31', 32 ', 33'). 3. Packaging (1; 1 ') according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the second wall (711, 713) or the flap (21, 23; 21', 23 ') superimposed on the second wall defines two partitions (30 , 31, 32, 33; 30 ', 31', 32 ', 33'; 730, 731, 732, 733) dividing said second wall or said flap into a central part (50, 51; 73, 74; 750, 751 ) extending between said two partitions and two end portions (39, 52, 54, 55; 73, 74; 752, 753, 754, 755) each extending from a corresponding partition to a lateral end of said second wall or of said flap. 4. Packaging (1) according to claim 3 when it depends on the 2, said packaging being shaped so that at least part (50, 51) of the overlap element (21, 23) remains distant from the bottom (2) when the cover element is folded against the adjoining wall (11, 13). 5. Packaging (1 ') according to claim 3 when it depends on the 2, said packaging being shaped so that at least a portion (73, 74) of the overlap element abuts against the bottom (2 ) when the cover element is folded against the adjoining wall (11, 13). 6. Package (1 ') according to claim 5, wherein the overlap element (21', 23 ') defines a fold line (70', 71 ') extending between the two partitions and articulating a portion at less (73, 74) from the central part (50 ', 51') relative to the rest of the overhang. 7. Package (1; Γ) according to claim 3, wherein at least one partition (30, 31, 32, 33; 30 ', 31', 32 ', 33'; 730, 731, 732, 733) s' extends to an end edge of the second wall (711, 713) or of the flap (21, 23; 21 ', 23'), said edge being coincident or parallel to the fold line (211, 212, 231 , 232; 740, 741) articulating the corresponding second wall (11, 13; 11 ', 13'; 711, 713) at the bottom. 8. Packaging according to claim 7, wherein at least a second wall (711, 713) defines two partitions (730, 731, 732, 733) extending to the fold line (740, 741) articulating the second corresponding wall (711, 713) at the bottom, characterized in that said fold line is non-rectilinear so as to exert forces tending to bring the central part (750, 751) towards the interior of the packaging. 9. Package (1 ”) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the cutout is a recess (30”, 31 ”, 32”, 33 ”; 861, 862, 863, 864) extending to one end lateral (38 ”, 39”, 40 ”, 41”) of the second wall (811, 813) or of the flap (21 ”, 23”) defining the cutout. 10. Packaging according to claim 9, wherein the recess (30 ”, 31”, 32 ”, 33”; 861, 862, 863, 864) has a shape complementary to that of the end flap. 11. Blank (100) in a rigid or semi-rigid material such as corrugated cardboard, for packaging of the tray or tray type, comprising - a polygonal background (2), - walls (10, 11, 12, 13) articulated by fold lines (101, 111, 121, 131) relative to the bottom, intended to be erected relative to the bottom, - For at least one (10, 12) of the walls, called the first wall, a sidewalk element (20, 22) articulated to this first wall, by a fold line (201, 221) opposite the fold line (101 , 121) articulating this first wall at the bottom, this sidewalk element being intended to be raised relative to this first wall above the bottom so as to form a sidewalk, - For at least one sidewalk element, at least one end flap (202, 203, 222, 223) articulated to said sidewalk element by a fold line (204, 205, 224, 225) not parallel to the line of fold (201, 221) articulating the sidewalk element with the first corresponding wall (10, 22), in which the blank defines, for at least one second wall distinct from said first wall, at least one precut or cut in this second wall or in a shutter intended to be superimposed on this second wall after setting in volume. the blank is arranged so that after setting in volume, the end flap hinged to the sidewalk element cooperates with a cutout 5 corresponding of the packaging to lock the sidewalk element.
