The present invention relates to the field of healing rooms for receiving a patient with disorders.

Such a soothing room, also called hypostimulation room or even hyposensitivity room, is a reassuring and soothing environment which makes it possible to respond to the difficulties of sensory hyperstimulation, behavioral disorders, aggressive or hetero aggressive behavior, securing both the patient and his companions or even the medical staff.

State of the art

The soothing rooms have padding on the walls and on the floor to prevent the patient or a caregiver from being injured when the patient behaves aggressively.

This padding is generally implemented by means of padded panels, of the tatami mat type, which cover the walls and are glued to them. Padding is also carried out on the floor. Persistent adhesive odors prevent the use of soothing rooms immediately after completion. It is indeed necessary to wait until the odors of glue have faded before the room can be occupied by a patient so as not to accentuate the patient's troubles. These glue odors also sometimes have a hard time fading.

It is also common for panels to be degraded by patients, which requires their replacement, which is made difficult by the bonding of these panels. This forces the degraded panel to be removed and the support surface to be cleaned prior to bonding the new panel, said bonding again generating persistent odors in the soothing room.

Summary of the invention

The present invention overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks by proposing a new design for a soothing room.

To this end, the invention relates to a soothing room comprising a wall, a floor and padded panels adjoining each other and covering at least the wall. In addition, the appeasement room includes a support frame fixed to the wall and removable assembly means arranged between the support frame and a rear face of the padded panels. Thus, the design of the soothing room eliminates the use of glue for fixing the padded panels, the smell of which persists for a long time in said room. This design also makes it possible to remove only one of the padded panels when it is damaged, without having to re-prepare (scrape the glue) the part of the wall wall receiving the new padded panel.

According to the invention, the assembly means comprise first parts configured to be fixed to the frame and second parts configured to be fixed to the rear face of the padded panels, a latching system being implemented between the first coins and the second coins.

In a preferred embodiment, the latching system between the first part and the second part provides a trigger resistance of the order of five kilograms, or a force of the order of five Newton.

In a preferred embodiment, the first parts are female parts and the second parts are male parts, the male parts snapping into the female parts respectively. Of course, the opposite remains possible, in a design flair.

In a preferred embodiment, the female parts are configured to be embedded in the support frame and the male parts are protruding on the rear face of the padded panels. This allows the rear face of the padded panels to be positioned adjacent to the support frame once the assembly has been carried out. This reduces the thickness of the padding on the wall of the healing room.

In an embodiment of the soothing room, the padded panels comprise a structure comprising a support plate provided with the bitter side, a padding plate fixed to the support plate and a first covering layer of the padding plate. This first layer of cover forms the visible part of the padded panel from inside the healing room. Preferably, the support plate is made of a material based on medium density fibers, called MDF material. Preferably, the padding plate is made of a foam based on cross-linked polyethylene, called PER. Preferably, the first covering layer consists of a fabric based on high tenacity polyester with a two-sided polyvinyl chloride (PVC two-sided) coating, fire-retardant in the mass.

In one embodiment of the soothing room, it comprises a layer of padding covering the floor and a second covering layer of said layer of padding. Preferably, the padding layer consists of an agglomerated foam based on cross-linked polyethylene, called PER. Preferably, the second covering layer consists of a material based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) of the UPG4 type having a fire classification BFL-S1.

FIGS. 1 to 4 show schematically a soothing room 1 comprising a wall wall 2 which may for example be rectangular or square and which delimits the surface SI of this soothing room 1, which also includes a floor 3 and a ceiling 4.

Each padded panel 5 comprises a multilayer structure consisting of a support plate 14, a padding plate 15 and a covering layer 16 of the padding plate 15. The male parts 10 are fixed on the rear face 14a of the support plate 14, constituting the rear face 5a of the padded panel 5. The support plate 14 is made of a material based on medium density fibers, called MDF material, or in a fireproof chipboard of class Ml. This support plate 14 has a preferred thickness of the order of one centimeter (1 cm). Thus the support plate 14 ensures the rigidity of the padded panel 5. The padding plate 15 consists of agglomerated foam based on cross-linked polyethylene, called PER, with a density of around thirty kilograms per cubic meter (30 kg / m ³ ) and a preferred thickness of two centimeters (2 cm). The cover layer 16 is tear and flame resistant; It is made of a fabric based on high tenacity polyester with a two-sided polyvinyl chloride coating (two-sided PVC), flame retardant in the mass. As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the covering layer 16 at its peripheral edge 17 which envelops the peripheral edge 18 of the padding plate 15 and the peripheral edge of the support plate 14, the peripheral end 20 of said covering layer 16 being folded and fixed by nailing or stapling to the peripheral contour 21 of the rear face 14a of the support plate 14. As illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, a padding layer 22 covers the floor 3. This padding layer 22 consists of agglomerated foam based on cross-linked polyethylene, called PER, with a density of the order thirty kilograms per cubic meter (30 kg / m3) and a preferred thickness of the order of two centimeters (2 cm). The padding layer 22 consists of a single piece, but plates (not shown) adjoining each other are also possible. This padding layer 22 is protected by a covering layer 23 consisting of a single piece in a material based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) of the UPG4 type having a fire classification BFL-S1, of a preferred thickness. on the order of three millimeters (3 mm).

FIG. 4 shows in more detail a system for processing waterproof lifts 24 implemented between the padding on the floor 3 and that on the wall wall 2. For each section of the wall wall 2, a longitudinal piece 25 having a cross section square or rectangular, preferably made of wood, is placed on the floor 3 in the angle formed with the wall wall 2. A rod 26, preferably also made of wood, is placed on the floor 3 and bears against the longitudinal piece 25 This strip 26 is of square or rectangular section and has a height corresponding to the thickness of the padding layer 22, as shown in FIG. 4. The covering layer 23 is placed on the padding layer 22 and on the strip 26, the peripheral edge 27 of said covering layer 23 being folded and rising on the upper part of the front face 28 of the longitudinal part 25. A plinth 29 of identical thickness that of the strip 26, preferably, rests on the covering layer 23 and is pressed against said peripheral edge 27, as shown in FIG. 4. The plinth 29 is preferably fixed by screwing to said upper part of the front face 28 , so as to pinch the peripheral edge 27 and avoid the use of glue. One could however envisage fixing by stapling the peripheral edge 27 on the upper part of the front face 28 and then gluing the plinth 29 on the peripheral edge 27, the quantity of glue used in this case being greatly limited. This plinth 29 is preferably made of solid wood with a color matching that of the covering layer 23. The lower face 30 of the padded panel 5 rests on the upper face 31 of the longitudinal piece 25. When the padded panel 5 is fixed to the wall 2, its underside 30 protrudes from the longitudinal part 25. In addition, the plinth 29 has a square groove 32 dimensioned to slide under this underside 30 and bear against the lower end 33 of the front face 5b of the padded panel 5, as shown in FIG. 4. It can be seen in this FIG. 4 that the support bars 8 are fixed to a support plate 34 which is itself fixed by screwing to the wall 2; we can however implement the previous variant of Figures 1 and 2 providing for directly fixing the support bars 8 on the wall 2 and play on the thicknesses of the different elements to ensure perfect implementation of the system for processing waterproof lifts 24. This support plate 34 is also made of a material based on medium density fibers, called MDF material, or in a fireproof chipboard of class Ml.

The soothing room 1 according to the invention eliminates the use of glue to fix the padded panels 5, and thus the persistent odors which can disturb the patients. The removable attachment of the padded panels 5 guarantees their proper anchoring on the wall 2 while leaving the possibility of easily replacing them in the event of deterioration. The force necessary to disengage the removable fastening means also guarantees the proper maintenance of the padded panels 5 on the wall 2, in the event that a patient tries to tear off one.

The appeasing room 1 according to the invention will include other characteristics. FIG. 4 shows for example the presence of a molding 35 fixed on the ceiling 4 and coming to bear against the upper end 36 of the front face 5b of the padded panel 5. This molding 35 is preferably made of solid wood, like the plinth 29, and of a color matching that of the covering layer 16 on the padded panel 5.

In FIGS. 1 to 4, the support bars 8 are arranged horizontally, but it is possible as a variant to arrange them vertically.

The soothing room 1 will also have an access door (not shown) also having padding at least on its internal side, said padding being for example similar to that of the padded panel 5.
