Abstract
Description
The present invention relates generally to a system for reducing the noise of an air conditioner unit of a motor vehicle. A disadvantage of air conditioning units of motor vehicles is the noise they emit when they are used, and especially when they are used at full load in heating or cooling the passenger compartment. Indeed, the flows of the air diffused into the passenger compartment generate a significant noise that can cover the noise of the powertrain of the vehicle for example. It is known in the prior art active reduction devices 10 ventilation noise generated by these air conditioners, such as that described in document FR 2 727 502. In return, this system has the particular disadvantage of not being very effective to reduce the noise completely. Document WO11052088 discloses an active ventilation noise control system of an air conditioning unit, with a noise reduction speaker which emits a soundproofing signal to create a soundproofed region in the vicinity of the head of an air conditioner. occupant of the vehicle. This system is complex and requires the implementation of specific speakers in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. EP1414021 discloses an active noise control device generally for a closed enclosure. Noise is transmitted by loudspeakers as a function of sensor measurements and corrections of the non-linear effects of the loudspeaker and the sensor. This method requires the use of several loudspeakers and gives no indication to implement the loudspeakers in the vehicle effectively.
The document JP2147429 describes an air conditioning group with active noise control with shutters in front of the loudspeaker which makes it possible to control in recycling mode to send the noise in a first duct (recycling duct), and in air mode outside by a shutter movement it allows to send the counter-noise in another air duct. This definition is not compact and can not effectively reduce noise. JP1186419A discloses an active control noise control system in a ventilation / air conditioning system with loudspeaker in the air conditioning unit. This definition is not compact and can not effectively reduce noise. An object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art documents mentioned above and in particular, first of all, to provide a noise reduction system of a compact and efficient vehicle air conditioner. For this purpose, a first aspect of the invention relates to a noise reduction system for a vehicle air conditioner, comprising: at least one means for measuring the acoustic spectrum of the noise of the air conditioner, at least one acoustic noise reduction actuator of the air conditioner, - a control unit connected to said at least one measurement means for receiving a measurement of the acoustic spectrum of the noise of the air conditioner and connected to said at least one acoustic actuator for sending a noise reduction control of the air conditioner, characterized in what said at least one measurement means and said at least one acoustic actuator are arranged in the same section of an air duct of the air conditioner. The system according to the present invention is compact because the measuring means and the actuator are arranged in the same section of the air duct, and the efficiency is good because the acoustic actuator generates a signal in phase opposition to the noise spectrum measured at the same location where the spectrum is measured, so that the noise is not affected by any obstacles encountered between the measurement site and the noise reduction site by the acoustic actuator . In other words, the invention consists in reducing the noise of the air conditioner at the place where the measurement is made. Advantageously, the system comprises at least one error measuring microphone connected to the control unit for measuring and correcting a noise reduction error of the air conditioner, and the error measuring microphone is arranged to form a human-machine interface of a voice device of the vehicle. The error measuring microphone provides feedback on noise reduction, and moreover, it is shared with a voice device of the vehicle, such as a hands-free phone for example, which reduces the cost of the function. Advantageously, the error measuring microphone is arranged in the air duct downstream of said at least one measurement means and said at least one acoustic actuator. Advantageously, the said at least one measurement means and the said at least one acoustic actuator are arranged at the same air diffuser of the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The noise reduction is done at the diffuser, just before the expulsion of air into the cabin, which stops the spread of noise to the user. A particularly interesting embodiment is that the system comprises another measuring means and another acoustic actuator connected to the control unit and arranged at another location in the air conditioner. The efficiency of the invention is improved by reducing the noise of the air conditioner in several places. For example, it may be decided to implement measurement means and an actuator at each location of the air conditioner where noise is generated. Advantageously, the measuring means is a microphone. Advantageously, the acoustic actuator is a speaker. A particularly interesting embodiment is that the system further comprises a loudspeaker also connected to a vehicle sound distribution device. The system shares equipment already in the vehicle to reduce costs. Advantageously, the control unit is integrated in an air conditioner management unit.
A second aspect of the invention is a motor vehicle comprising at least one noise reduction system according to the first aspect of the invention and an air conditioner. A final aspect of the invention is a method of reducing noise of a vehicle air conditioner comprising the steps of: - measuring the acoustic spectrum of the air conditioner noise in an air conditioner air line with measuring means connected to a control unit; - Reduce the noise of the air conditioner in the same section of the air conditioner air duct with at least one acoustic actuator connected to the control unit. Other features and advantages of the present invention will appear more clearly on reading the following detailed description of an embodiment of the invention given by way of non-limiting example and illustrated by the appended drawings, in which: Figure 1 shows a sectional view of an air conditioner equipped with a system according to the present invention. FIG. 1 represents a simplified section of an air conditioning air circuit, with an air inlet 71, a motor-fan 72, exchangers 73 and 74, and an air diffuser 60. air conditioner for heating or cooling the passenger compartment of the vehicle, the motor-fan 72 creates a flow of air as represented by the arrows. The air is thus sucked by the inlet 71, passes into the air duct 45, in the vicinity of the motor-fan 72, through a first exchanger 73 (a radiator for example), through a second exchanger 74 (an evaporator for example), the air finally passes in the pipe 40 to be expelled into the passenger compartment by the air diffuser 60. If the need for heating or air conditioning is very important, the user can adjust the rotation speed of the motor-fan 72 on the maximum 5, but the flow of air according to the circuit described above will generate high noise. In order not to alter the comfort of the user, the invention proposes an active noise reduction. For this purpose, a microphone 10 is installed in the air duct 45, as well as a loudspeaker 20, in the same section of this air duct 40. The microphone 10 is a means of measuring the acoustic spectrum of the noise of the air conditioner in the pipe 40, and the speaker 20 is an acoustic actuator arranged to generate an acoustic spectrum in phase opposition to the noise spectrum of the air conditioner. Thus, the noise of the air conditioner is canceled.
The microphone 10 and the loudspeaker 20 are both connected to a control unit 30 which on the one hand receives the measurement of the acoustic spectrum of the noise of the air conditioner from the microphone 10 and on the other hand, sends a command upwards. speaker 20 to generate an anti-phase spectrum of the noise spectrum of the air conditioner. Since the speaker 20 is arranged in the same section of the air duct 40 as the microphone 10, the noise of the air conditioner there corresponds exactly to that measured, and the anti-phase spectrum will effectively reduce the noise. To improve the efficiency of the noise reduction, an error measuring microphone 50 is connected to the control unit 30 and arranged in the air duct 40, downstream of the microphone 10 and the speaker 20, to allow feedback from the control unit 30, to correct the acoustic levels. To avoid increasing the cost of the active noise reduction function, the error measuring microphone 50 may be that of a voice man-machine interface, such as a hands-free telephone, for example. In addition, speakers of the car radio can also be used to generate the spectrum in opposition to the noise of the air conditioner. It will be understood that various modifications and / or improvements obvious to those skilled in the art can be made to the various embodiments of the invention described herein without departing from the scope of the invention defined by the appended claims.
