Abstract

The device has a ball (R) mounted on an aircraft figurine for relative motion capture of the figure over a capacitive screen of a digital terminal. A transmission unit transmits information on the movement of the figurine to the digital terminal via the capacitive screen by a capacitive signature, where the transmitted information is written into the scrolling decors of a flight simulation game application. The software application interprets and translates the movement of the signature on the screen in a virtual environment of the game application.

Description

The present invention provides a flight transcriber of a physical figure in a virtual space. The present invention is particularly aimed at the universe of games on digital terminal. The invention proposes a new way of playing a flight simulation. This 5 simulation is particularly suitable for young children who like to hold a plane at hand and who imagine themselves flying on the plane or seeing the plane in the air. With the invention, the child will always hold his plane at hand. The novelty of the invention will be that the movements that the user will drive to his aircraft will be transcribed on the screen of the digital terminal in the virtual world. On the screen, in the virtual world of the game application, the set will evolve in function and in connection with the movements of the physical object that the user will move with his hand. In a way with the invention, the pawn is a pilot pin. A main object of the invention is to offer a new way of playing with physical figures in a three-dimensional game environment with behind a virtual transcript on the screen of the effects of the physical movements of the figurine in the virtual set. in the virtual avatar of the figurine. The invention thus makes it possible, for example, very favorably to play games of aerial battles, flight races and rally races.

In one main aspect provides a device interface capture of movement between the figurine and the digital terminal. In a first form, the motion capture interface device is an articulation mounted on the figurine. This articulation 5 comprises conductive zones and non-conductive zones. In a second form, the motion capture device is a capacitive signature that moves on the screen according to the movement of the figurine. In a third form, the motion capture device is an electro-digital assembly with sensors. Several sensor technologies are possible: either by accelerometer, by camera that captures the movements, or by wireless antenna recognition. The appended figures show a particular embodiment of the invention in which: FIG. 1 represents the capacitive screen of a digital terminal FIG. 2 represents a figurine above the capacitive screen FIG. 3 represents a figurine over the capacitive screen after a displacement FIG. 4 represents a figurine above the capacitive screen 20 after a displacement. FIG. 1 represents a digital terminal (1) with its capacitive screen. The digital terminal has loaded a flight simulation game application which is then opened with the figurine (F), see Figure 2, positioned above the capacitive screen. The user holds this figurine by hand. A movement capture device of the figurine (F) retranscribes on the game application the movements of the figurine (F) in a virtual game environment. According to a first variant of the invention, see Figures 2 and 3, the motion capture device is a ball (R) which is mounted on the figure and which detects inclinations. Figure 3 shows a figure above the capacitive screen after a movement The figurine is connected to the capacitive screen by a thread with a capacitive signature of the figurine which is stuck on the capacitive screen. Thus the motion information is transmitted by means known by this conductive link to the capacitive screen of the digital terminal. In a particular form, the figurine comprises several specific conductive surfaces that make it possible to give the virtual control order by touching its specific surfaces. By touching this or that part of the conductive surface, the user transmits with an electrical pulse that comes from the electrons of his body. This electricity is transmitted to the capacitive signature (C) by supplying electricity with specific parts of the capacitive signature. The capacitive signature includes several zones, each of which triggers a specific control command. In another particular form, the specific piloting operating zones are not located on the figure but are positioned on specific areas of the ball (R). The entire area of the surface of the figurine that is held by the user is then conductive. The figurine includes a conductive circuit that will touch the patella (R). On the other hand, the ball joint (R) contains specific conductive zones which each correspond to a steering action. These conductive zones on the ball (R) lead through isolated conductive circuits to specific areas of the capacitive signature area (C). By orienting the figurine one way or the other, forwards, backwards, to the left or to the right, the conductive pivot zone of the figurine is in contact with a specific conductive zone of the patella (R) that activates de facto a specific action by activating a specific area of the capacitive signature (C). This solution makes it possible to propose piloting a digital remote terminal with a figurine that is not equipped with an electronic device. This solution is simple and very economical. FIG. 4 represents a figurine above the capacitive screen after a movement with a second motion capture means which is a signature (C) which moves on the screen by mechanical transmission means. By moving the figurine, the user transmits a plane movement to a signature (C) that moves on the screen.

This displacement (C) is understood and interpreted by the application software which then translates it into the virtual environment of the application game. Of course, there are other motion capture technologies of the figurine (F) that are electronic with a wired link or a wireless link. The advantage of a wired connection with signature on the capacitive screen is to be able to easily transmit the information to the game application, without going through the authorizations of the manufacturer of the digital terminal. The present invention therefore relates to a motion capture device of a physical figure (F) above the capacitive screen of a digital terminal (1) which has loaded a flight simulation game application characterized in that the Figurine (F) includes means for capturing relative movement of the figurine above the capacitive screen and means for transmitting information on the movements of the figurine (F) to the digital terminal through the capacitive screen by means of a capacitive signature (C), the transmitted information is then transcribed in the scrolling of the decorations of the game application. The present invention thus relates to a motion capture device of a physical figure (F) characterized in that the movement capture means are a ball (R) which is mounted on the figurine and which detects the inclinations and which transmits them by wire to the signature (C) of the figurine on the capacitive screen. The invention therefore relates to a motion capture device of a physical figure (F) characterized in that the signature (C) moves on the screen by mechanical transmission means, the user transmits a plane movement to the signature (C) which moves on the screen, this movement of the signature (C) is understood and interpreted by the application software which then translates it into the virtual environment of the application game. It will be seen that many variants that may be combined here can be provided without ever departing from the scope of the invention as defined below.
