Abstract

The system has a distributed and non distributed file systems maintaining a representation of files, and a virtualization layer (36) maintaining match between each of a set of virtual addresses and a physical address on a storage area (38) of a node such as applicative node. A storage client (44) is integrated with any of a set of storage servers (46) based on an access request assigning the physical address. The storage server executes the request contained in a waiting queue in a preset order according to rules forming performance criteria, and implies parameters of state of the area. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for controlling data applicable in a network (2) a computer device forming a node.
