Abstract
Description
SYSTEME COMPLIANT A EQUILIBRAGE AUTO-REGULE ET A ASSISTANCECOMPLIANT SYSTEM WITH SELF-REGULATED BALANCE AND ASSISTANCE
First of all, let us specify that the words compliant or compliance translate a capacity of self-adaptation of a moving part on a fixed pilot which it comes docking. They therefore relate to a generally low amplitude movement phase in which the moving part comes, with a minimum of residual force, to come into contact (often before tightening) with the faces of a pilot. We will call this operation a movement of compliance. This movement comprises two distinct parts. The first is an approach that leads to a first contact between the pilot and the moving part. The second, which we will call final part, is to perform a more intimate position between these two pieces. In practice, this movement is made necessary by the imperfection with which one knows the relative positions of the moving part and the pilot (which is fixed or not because we only consider here the relative movement between these two parts. together can move without changing anything to our reasoning). Thus, it is a matter of bringing into contact a part which must be positioned on a pilot with maximum flexibility and precision. To do this, it is necessary to overcome two parameters which are imbalance and inertia. 1 - the imbalance: We know of course balancing systems, including counterweights with all the implantations that allows this technology. However, this simple and effective solution has a big disadvantage, it increases the mass (therefore the inertia) of the installation and its implementation is not always possible for reasons of space. It is also possible to use cylinders which, if they are pneumatic, have a low bandwidth, if they are
Furthermore, the mechanical balancer described in French patents Nos. 84 08383 and 88 02423 is known. These entirely mechanical devices have a high bandwidth but only work so that their angle of implantation relative to the horizontal plane is constant. They are therefore not usable on mobile devices in space and time. 2 - inertia: It is possible to use spring systems, see the balancers defined above to compensate for inertia during cyclic movements since they store energy as capacitors. However, compliance movements are by definition random and therefore almost always require a contribution or energy recovery which imposes a motorization system. The object of the invention is in particular to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks. It aims, in particular to provide a self-regulating balancing system and anti-inertial assistance in which a kinematics with high direct and inverse yields (the direct efficiency corresponds to the transfer of energy in the direction of the motor load, the inverse efficiency corresponds in the direction of the motor load), which is therefore necessarily reversible and which also has a high bandwidth, makes it possible, in particular with a minimum of distortion, the following three phases: -Phase 1: With a motor controlled at zero speed, to carry out a on the other hand, the measurement of the imbalance force of the moving part through the torque that it generates on its shaft when the support of the assembly is fixed in space (or does not bring back a complementary inertial effect on the said piece) and that its angular position is stabilized in that corresponding to the movement
Phase 2 . - 3 -, and, other hand, the blocking of the moving part on its axis of movement when one is not in the final part of a compliance movement. Phase 2.
The motor delivers the torque measured in phase 1, but is no longer controlled in speed. Thus, if the angular position of the previous measurement is respected, one operates in self-regulating balancing integrating both the weight of the moving part and the direction of the compliance movement in space. Indeed, the motor (not speed-controlled) follows the movement of compliance in its final part and its torque is opposed to that generated by gravity and cancels. Phase 3. The motor, not speed-controlled, will superimpose on the preceding pair, and simultaneously, a value calculated from the mass of the moving part and the acceleration of the final part of its compliance movement. This torque will therefore compensate for the effect of the inertia of the moving part in said phase. Advantageously, the transition from phase 1 to phases 2 and / or 3 which marks the beginning of the final part of the compliance movement will be made when the first contact of the moving part and its pilot will cause the engine (still in phase 1) a significant change in the value of his torque. In the description which follows, made only by way of example, reference is made to the appended drawing in which a system meeting the criteria defined above is shown. In S, a movable support is recognized which moves in space and in time so that it can successively assume all the positions.
C'est le même - 4 - This support carries two rectilinear guides 4 and 6 on which moves the moving part 2. This piece will have, moving on the axis XX 'defined by the guides 4 and 6, to make a compliant movement with respect to a driver not shown in the drawing. The axis XX 'is, with respect to the vertical defined by the weight P of the part 2, an arbitrary and variable angle α. Movements along the angle a are not coplanar, but are in space. The part 2 is connected to a ball screw 8 by a nut not shown which it is secured. This screw is integral in rotation with a motor 10 by a toothed belt pulley system 12, 14 and 16. The kinematic assembly that represents the screw 8 (large-pitch screw, in general whose pitch value is equal to the diameter ), its nut (mounted without prestressing because this connection is not subject to sudden torque variations) and the belt pulley assembly 12, 14 and 16, meets the criteria of high direct and inverse efficiencies as well as bandwidth high so that the motor 10 will be able to ensure the 3 phases defined above ie phase 1 of measurement and maintenance in position and phase 2 and 3 which are in fact simultaneous phases following during which the piece 2 will perform the final part of a compliance movement 20 on the driver not shown. Phase 1 . The slave motor at zero speed will keep the screw 8 stationary. It will therefore, if the support S is fixed (or does not bring any additional inertial effect on the part 2), bring back to the motor a corresponding torque. 25 to the component F parallel to XX 'of the weight P (the component F' being perpendicular to the axis XX '). This measurement will therefore define the level of imbalance taking into account the weight P and the angle a. It is the same
- 5 - zero speed servo motor 10 which will maintain the piece 2 fixed relative to the support S when not in the final part of a compliance movement. As a guide, a mass of 150 kg of the part 2 taken up by a screw 12.7 mm in diameter and pitch 12.7 mm returns, on this screw, if XX 'is parallel to p, a pair of a value This torque is reduced to 1 Nm if the belt pulley ratio is 3. It can thus be seen that the system is particularly light and easy to implement. Moreover, its direct and inverse yields will be excellent and this system will have a bandwidth of several hundred Hertz (the inertias are of the order of 10- 'kg.m2 if we consider a screw 100 mm in length, which seems sufficient for a compliance movement). Phase 2. Measuring the torque, therefore the motor current, performed in phase 1 and stored will allow to reinject this current, so to generate the same torque on the motor shaft. The motor, not enslaved in speed, and with it the kinematics, will follow the final part of the compliance movement of the part 2 and ensure the balancing of this set until the total docking of the part 2 on its pilot. This assumes, of course, that the values of P and a are the same as those of phase 1. Phase 3. The torque of phase 2, and simultaneously, a component corresponding to the inertial load of the piece 2 is superimposed on this component. This component is proportional to the mass and to the acceleration of said part.
La génération de ce signal d'accélération peut Thus we will compensate the inertial efforts and facilitate the final part of the compliance movement. Like phase 2, the motor is not speed-controlled. The generation of this acceleration signal can
- 6 - drift with respect to time the values of the engine speed in this following phase. The determination of the mass possibly taking place by the combined measurement of F and a in phase 1. Thus, phases 2 and 3 are only activated during the final part of the compliance movement of part 2 with respect to its pilot; Phase 1 is in operation the rest of the time. Advantageously, the transition from phase 1 to phases 2 and / or 3, which marks the beginning of the final part of the compliance movement, will occur when the first contact of the moving part 2 and its pilot will cause, on the motor 10 (still in phase 1) a significant change in the value of his torque. More generally, it will be noted that the kinematics advantageously produced in the example by a screw 8 and its toothed belt pulley system 12, 14 and 16 can be achieved by any other system offering the same performance and bandwidth conditions, in particular a Rack and pinion system with or without the appropriate gearbox. It will also be noted that the measurement of the force F through the torque it generates as defined in phase 1 will decide whether or not to integrate phase 2 and / or phase 3 (with the combined measurement of a) in the compliance movement.
Thus, we can not introduce phase 2 if XX 'is perpendicular to p and keep only phase 3 with the only anti-inertial torque. It may also be possible in some cases to use the kinematics of FIG. 1 to actuate the main movement of the system. This, provided that this versatility does not alter the efficiency and bandwidth characteristics of the compliance movement. Finally, there are applications in which the main movement is of another order and does not concern only part 2. - 7 - The compliance axis is primarily a tracking system which must therefore necessarily have a clearly defined level of performance. greater than that required by the main movement. Finally, it should be noted that this system is autonomous since it itself generates all the signals necessary for its operation. In many applications, these devices will be made to perform cyclic and / or repetitive movements; it is then possible in this case to pre-program the different values of F and a and thus to overcome the measurement part of phase 1. By its own characteristics, namely the control of an imbalance and of a variable inertia, this system adapts particularly well to handling assistance applications. It allows high movement speeds and is particularly effective in the positioning and / or docking phases. This system, defined and analyzed for a rectilinear compliance movement, also works if this movement is circular, or even arbitrary. Two hypotheses can then be distinguished: 1 - the small amplitude of this compliance movement does not lead to significant variations in the imbalance and / or inertia values, or these variations do not alter the quality of this movement of unacceptable way. In this case, the same process as previously defined is repeated. 2 - these variations must be taken into account and corrigatives are actually made during the compliance movement. These corrections are made by analyzing these values in different successive positions and by realizing in real time the corresponding corrections on the pairs of phases 2 and / or 3 of the engine 10.
The compliance movement described above is understood when the support S is either stopped or moves at a constant speed and so that its movement does not induce a complementary inertial effect on the part 2. S It was not so, it would be superimposed on the couples of phases 2 and 3 of the engine 10 a fix to integrate this effect.
