Abstract

The device has two remote computers (1, 2) connected to each other by a communication unit (3). The computer (2) e.g. portable micro-computer, is connected to an audio assembly (7) and a video assembly (10). A unit formed of a TCP/IP signal converting box (27), a cable (28) and transmission/reception modules connects an external hardware (26) e.g. digital multimeter, to the computer (1) through the computer (2) and the communication unit. A management software (30) controls exchange of data between the computers.
