Abstract

The module has a conditional access module or DVB-common interface module with inputs (TS-in, Wifi) and outputs (TS-out, HDMI). The access module decrypts a channel during utilization using a smart card. The output (HDMI) permits a hardwired link towards an HDMI bus corresponding to an integrated digital television receiver. The output (HDMI) is connected on the television and on a DVD-HD cutter/recorder, to record an HD flow while viewing an SD flow coming from a tuner of the television.
