  Cardboard tray obtained by folding a pre-cut and precut blank The present invention is in the field of trays intended to transport, protect, store, group or enhance manufactured products such as furniture elements, mechanical parts , electronic components or agricultural products such as fruits and vegetables (peaches, apples, etc ...). The trays of this type are generally produced from a single blank of cardboard, corrugated cardboard or sheet material of the analogous type, generally rectangular in shape, and the mechanical strength of which, after being set in volume, does not require has no fixing means of the type

glue, staples or clips.

  The invention relates more particularly to such a tray, and a method for

  its volume from said single blank.

  This type of tray, in its simplest embodiment, generally includes a rectangular bottom extended on its periphery by four side panels which wind perpendicular to said bottom to

  form a packaging volume.

  To keep its deployed shape and its mechanical behavior without using external fixing means, each panel is. for example, provided at each of its lateral ends with a tongue which, during the packaging of the packaging, cooperates with the end of the adjoining panel specifically configured for this purpose, ie a conventional tenon system

  For reasons of space and to facilitate their transport, the trays are generally delivered flat to industrialists, farmers or other users, the latter having to carry out themselves the three-dimensional mounting of the trays on their site of use.   To this end, the tray of the invention, also produced from a single blank of cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar sheet material, is characterized mainly in that said blank comprises, articulated to said bottom, of a part, extending the two longitudinal parallel dimensions of the latter, following two

the outside of the plateau.

  It should be noted that the positive or negative value of oc does not refer to

  a direction of rotation trigonometric or anti-trigonometric.

  Preferably, oc is in the range of -5 to +5. For example, when oc is equal to +5, the oblique crease lines as mentioned in the preceding paragraph form an angle of approximately 50 with the reverse crease line around which the transverse panel pivots. This therefore makes it possible in the end to obtain a tray whose longitudinal panels are slightly inclined towards the interior, in principle at an angle of 85 relative to the bottom. This packaging can thus be used to hold in place for example a rectangular wooden or agglomerated panel constituting a piece of furniture, placed flat on the bottom of the packaging,

  and which is then maintained in the dimensional trots.

  The trays proposed so far in the prior art are also often often produced from a single blank of generally rectangular shape pre-cut and precut in a more or less complex manner as regards the parts in particular used for its final assembly (flaps , pastes, tongues, etc ...). The operations of precutting of these back parts carried out at the level of its peripheral edges however generate in most cases falls which, by adding up to the number of the plates produced, constitute definitively a not insignificant quantity of lost raw material. The invention makes it possible to eliminate this drawback by the fact that the single blank remains, even after treatment (creasing / cutting), of rectangular shape and devoid of decorative surfaces. The transverse and lateral panels then present this same form of rectangle, the panels of

  connection being subsequently rectangular or square.

  It is however possible that the blank is for example of octagonal shape, the connecting panels then being of triangular shape instead of being rectangular. The invention also relates to a method for setting the volume of a tray as defined above from a single blank of cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar sheet material comprising a rectangular bottom part 3 5 characterized in that it comprises the following steps: - erect above said bottom around first lines of creasing the longitudinal panels so that each makes an angle of (90 -cc) with said bottom;

  - fold down transversely to said bottom around second crease lines perpendicular to the first mentioned the connecting panels, the transverse panels tilting when their triangular portions are folded around the oblique crease lines on their central trapezoidal portion, the crease lines on which s hinges each triangular portion on the connecting panel then superimposed substantially on the reverse creasing line around

The invention will now be described in more detail, with reference to the appended figures, for which: - Figure 1 is a flat view of a blank from which a tray according to the invention is obtained; - Figures 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 show perspective views showing the gradual deployment of said blank until obtaining the

final plateau.

  Referring to Figure 1, the single blank (1), for example of cardboard, is rectangular and has a rectangular central portion forming the bottom (2) of the tray. This is surrounded by two longitudinal rectangular panels (3, 5) of the same dimensions articulated along creasing lines (15, 17), and two rectangular transverse panels (4, 6) of

  same dimensions articulated along reverse creasing lines (16, 18).

  This creasing is said to be reverse because it is preformed to be able to allow a fold in a direction substantially opposite to that of the first creasing (15, 17).

  Each cross panel (4, 6) co mp renders a central trapezoidal portion (4c, 6c) comprising at each of its lateral edges a portion (4a, 4b; 6a, 6b), in this case of isosceles right triangular shape. In this particular case, x is chosen equal to 0. It should be noted that the large base of each trapezoidal portion (4, 6) coincides with the line (16, 18) around which it is articulated at the bottom (2 ). Two triangular portions (4a, 4b) or (6a, 6b) are articulated to the same trapezoidal portion (4c) or (6c) along respectively two oblique grooving lines (27i, 28 '; 29', 30 '), forming a

  S angle of 45 relative to the reverse crease line (16) or (18).

  Also shown in the figure are the oblique crease lines (27, 28; 29, 30), in principle forming an angle of (45 +) relative to the reverse crease line (16) or (18). - 'Connection panels (7, 8, 9, 10) are used to connect the longitudinal panels (3,4) to the transverse panels, and therefore to the triangular portions (4a, 4b; 6a, 6b). Each connecting panel (7, 8, 9, 10) is articulated to a lateral edge of the longitudinal panel (3, 4) adjoining along a first crease line (19, 20, 21, 22) substantially perpendicular to the crease line (15, 17). The triangular portion (4a, 4b; 6a, 6b) adjoining each connecting panel (7,8,9,10) is articulated along a crease line (23 ', 24', 25 ', 26') perpendicular to the reverse crease line (16, 18), when

  The crease lines (23, 24; 25, 26) are also represented forming an angle of (90 + a) with respect to the reverse crease lines (16) or (18). The

  In the illustrated variant, the connecting panels (7,8, 9, 10) are square in shape. It is however conceivable that they are rectangular or even

  triangular. In the latter case, not shown, the blank would then be octagonal.

  The crease lines (19, 20) and (21, 22) forming the border between the longitudinal panels (3, 4) and the connecting panels (7, 8) and (9, 10) are aligned with the crease lines inverse (16) and (18). In addition, when oc is equal to 0, the crease lines (23 ', 24') and (25 ', 26) are also in the

  First, the longitudinal panels (3,5) and the connecting panels

  (7,10; 8, 9) wind straightens perpendicular to the bottom (2).

  With reference to FIG. 3, the connection panels (7, 8) are then folded inwards, by 90 around the crease lines (19, 20), substantially along one of the transverse dimensions of the bottom (2 ). This movement causes the flap of the two triangular portions (4a, 4b) on the central trapezoidal portion (4c) around the oblique grooves (27 ', 28'). The cross panel (4) is

simultaneously folded back towards the teas.

  The fly (11) is then straightened substantially by 90 around the reverse creasing line (16) to come into contact with the inner face of the

connecting panels (7, 8).

  The assembly consists of two connecting panels (7, 8) and of the voles (11)

  then forms the third wall (38) of the plate.

  Figure 6 shows the plate (43) as it appears when it is mounted. The mounting of the fourth wall (42) is carried out in the same manner as for the third wall (38) which is opposite it. The packaging volume has substantially the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped. The axes (47) nevertheless make it possible to imagine the shape produced by the inclination towards the interior of the longitudinal panels when a is different from 0, and

  positive. This inclination would be towards the outside of the plate if it were negative.

  According to the illustrated variant of the invention, there is therefore obtained from the single rectangular blank (1) pre-folded and precut so as to retain its integrity, the plate (43) which, after rapid assembly, exhibits excellent

mechanical strength.

  The example described with reference to the figures cannot however be considered as limiting the invention, which includes all the variants of form and

  configuration that is within the reach of the man of [art.

Claims (10)

  1. Tray (43) producing a packaging volume intended to contain one or more manufactured or agricultural products, produced from a single blank (1) made of cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar sheet material comprising a bottom part (2 ) rectangular, characterized in that said blank (1) comprises, articulated to said bottom (2), - on the one hand, extending the two longitudinal parallel dimensions of the latter, along two lines of creasing - (1'5, 17 ), two longitudinal panels (3, 5) able to be erected above said bottom by making an angle of (90 -cc) with it, and on the other hand, extending its two parallel transverse dimensions, along two lines of creasing reverse cities (16, 18) two transverse panels (4, 6) intended to be folded at least 180 from below it, each transverse panel (4, 6) comprising a central portion of trapezoidal shape, of large base combined with the reverse creasing line (16, 18), extended at its two lateral edges by two triangular portions (4a, 4b; 6a, 6b), along oblique crease lines (27, 28; 29, 30) with an angle of (45 + a) relative to the reverse crease line (16, 18), the longitudinal panels (3, 5 ) and the adjoining transverse panels (4, 6) being connected by a connecting panel (7, 8, 9, 10) which can be folded down transversely to said bottom (2) when the longitudinal panels (3, 5) are erected above thereof, the triangular portions (4a, 4b; 6a, 6b) then come to fall back on the central portion of the transverse panel (4, 6) to which they are attached, each triangular portion (4a, 4b; 6a, 6b ) being further articulated to a connecting panel (7, 8, 9, 10) around a crease line (23, 24, 25, 26) forming an angle of (90 +) with the reverse crease line ( 16,18) contiguous, two flaps (11, 12) cut in said bottom (2) being articulated respectively around the two reverse creasing lines (16, 18) to come up above said bottom (2) in contact with the face interior of two connecting panels (7, 8; 9, 10) folded transversely on the same side to said bottom (2), said bottom comprising two openings respectively obtained at least in part by cutting out said two flaps (11, 12) in said bottom (2), at least one member for locking in each of said openings allowing passage above said bottom, through said opening, of the central trapezoidal portion   3 5 of the transverse panel, by preventing it from passing in the opposite direction.   2.
