  The present invention relates to a new principle of a light book, which can also be read.

good by day than by night.

  Traditionally, books can only be read when the brightness (natural or

  artificial) is sufficient, but night reading is not possible.

  The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback. During the day, the book can be read like a normal book. At night, as for a refrigerator, an automatic switch system allows to control a light source: the light turns on

  when you open the book and turn off when you close it.

  This light source is created by a pilot type device which diffuses the light from the top of the binding. The source consists of a light diode (led) or a bulb powered by batteries. This device is inserted in a plastic case, fixed in the

top of the binding.

  The light source is of the black light type.

  The pages are illustrated with fluorescent colors and phosphorescent paint or ink, so that the black light makes the patterns shine at night

when you open the book.

  This principle is primarily intended for children's books: they will be amazed by the brightness of the patterns. This mysterious light that turns on and off as if by magic

  will arouse their curiosity and participate in the awakening.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a case (1) in the shape of an L. This case is fixed to the upper end of the book binding. Inside this box, a light source (2) of the light diode (led) or bulb type is oriented so as to diffuse the light on the pages of the book when it is open. For obvious safety reasons, the orientation of the source and the shape of the housing are such that it is not possible to fix the light source with it. The scattered light is of the black light type. This source is powered by batteries (3) positioned inside the housing. A flexible plastic tab (4) fixed on the cover of the book acts as a switch: when the book is opened, this tab slides in a slide present in the case. The electrical contact is then made through the window (5) present in the tongue. When the book is closed, the plastic thickness of the tab prevents contact: the light source goes out.   Several variants are possible: 1. a manual switch can be added to the device in order to cut the operation of the

  light (use in broad daylight, parental control ...).

  2. a timer can be added to the device: The source switches off after a programmed time (a few minutes), only the phosphorescent patterns glow at night,

  causing wonder in children.

  3. pages can be left blank intentionally so that the child can

  make your own illustrations, using fluorescent or phosphorescent markers.

Claims (5)

  1. Book provided with a device comprising a light source of the black light type oriented towards the pages of the book. The fluorescent and phosphorescent illustrations on the pages shine under the effect of black light. The book can be read both day and night. 2. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises an automatic switch which controls the light source: the light turns on when the   delivers and turns off when closed.   3. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it   includes a manual switch to cut off the operation of the light source.   4. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it includes a timer.   5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the   book includes blank pages so the child can make their own
