La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fixation supérieure d'un amortisseur de suspension d'une roue avant d'un véhicule automobile. Les dispositifs de fixation supérieure d'un amortisseur de suspension avant comprennent généralement une coupelle supérieure de liaison avec la structure du véhicule et une coupelle inférieure disposée au-dessous de la coupelle supérieure. Ces dispositifs comportent aussi une coupelle de limitation en détente disposée au- dessus de la coupelle supérieure et une coupelle de limitation en attaque disposée au-dessous de la coupelle inférieure. Les coupelles supérieure et inférieure sont reliées entre elles par une masse en matériau élastomère et les différents éléments constituant le dispositif de fixation de l'amortisseur sont placés sur l'extrémité filetée de la tige de cet amortisseur et fixés sur celle-ci<B>à</B> l'aide d'un organe de vissage, comme par exemple un écrou. Ces dispositifs de fixation présentent un encombrement radial important qui s'avère très pénalisant lors de la conception du véhicule.
