Abstract

  The present invention combines interdental vibratory irrigation with current brushing.

  Conventional brushing does not occur at the interdental level, which in fact constitutes the most vulnerable area of the gingival attachment of the tooth. Interdental devices

  exist but they are ignored or overused, perhaps because of their delicate use.

  The brush according to the invention, adaptable to an electric toothbrush with rotary or transverse movement (not limiting), by combining brushing with interdental irrigation, but above all by adding its vibratory component, creates a real synergy. The irrigation rod allows easy access to the interdental space in order to provide the vibratory component, which

  can be induced by the simple vibratory movement of the electric toothbrush.

  According to particular embodiments:

  - the brush fits onto an electric toothbrush by its handle.

  - the handle of the brush transmits the vibratory movement to the head of the brush.

  - the water supply provides the irrigation rod.

  - the fibers of the brush provide a central space where the irrigation rod is housed.
