Abstract

The combined scarf and cover is made from a rectangle of material 140 cm long by 42 cm wide, folded over lengthwise and sewn along its long edge and across one end, forming a sleeve 14 cm in diameter with a sliding clasp fastener for closing its other end.

Description

The present invention relates to an accessory for transporting

  hunting weapons, rifles or carbines, whether or not fitted with a telescopic sight.

  Article five of the decree of August 1, 1986, stipulates that hunting weapons must be transported, before and after the hunting party, inside a holster if they are not dismantled. The hunter cannot burden himself with this case during the hunting party, this would hamper and slow down his movements, making his progress and his actions difficult. This results in the abandonment of gun cases at the start of the hunting party. When returning, the weapon cannot therefore be stored in its holster. The invention therefore relates to an accessory which overcomes the problem of the size of such cases and thus to have at all times at hand a cover intended for the storage of hunting weapons. This accessory consists of a rectangle of textile material, composed of 50% (fifty percent) of acrylic and 50% (fifty percent) of wool, measuring 140 (one hundred and forty) centimeters long and 42 (forty two) centimeters wide, folded on itself lengthwise into two equal parts and sewn along its length15 as well as on one end in order to form a cover of 14 (fourteen) centimeters in diameter. The non-sewn end closes with a zipper, attached to

  the end of the single thickness of fabric constituting the rear face of the accessory. The presence of this closure is indicated by a decorative subject embroidered or sewn on the sole thickness of the front face of the accessory, on the same end as said closure. This motif represents 20 big game: deer, wild boar or deer or small game: duck, pheasant or woodcock. The two ends are extended by woolen fringes eight centimeters long.

  The accessory is green or brown according to the following references: green AN037, brown AM108. The absence of handles and rigidity of the accessory makes it possible, when the latter is emptied of its content, to make it adopt the contours of the human body by wrapping it around itself. It is then possible to use it as a scarf. Thus passed around the hunter's neck, the cover of the hunting weapon is transported without clutter or hindrance. In addition, the fibers and the double thickness of textile provide the user with comfort and warmth. At the end of the hunting party, the user just has to separate from his scarf and introduce his weapon in order to store it there.30 The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows the invention (1), open closure, containing a weapon (2) equipped with a

Claims   1) Scarf allowing the storage of hunting weapons (2) characterized in that it is made of double thickness in the form of a cover comprising at the end of one of the faces a closure (4) intended to open the scarf for introduce the hunting weapon (2), whether or not mounted with a telescopic sight (3), and store it there. 2) Scarf according to claim 1, characterized in that it consists of fabric   made of 50% (fifty percent) wool and 50% (fifty percent) acrylic.   3) Scarf according to claims 1 or 2 characterized in that it has one of   ends of its front face an embroidered or sewn pattern (5), indicating the presence of the   closure (4) on the rear face of this same end.   4) Scarf according to any one of claims I to 3, characterized in that it is fi * fringed with fringes (6).   ) Scarf according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it   measures 140 (one hundred and forty) centimeters in length and shape, when the closure (4) is   open, a case of 14 (fourteen) centimeters in diameter.   6) Scarf according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the   closure (4) is a zipper.
