Abstract

The sealing device has a secure envelope (2) defining an open volume (V) accessible through a linear opening (16) at one end. An adhesive sheet (22) is glued to the two edges of the opening to cover the edges and close the envelope. An indicator is provided to indicate when the envelope has been opened and resealed. Labels (34,36) with a heavy-duty glue are attached to the envelope and to each of the objects contained in the envelope. The glue is sufficiently strong to prevent removal of the labels without tearing. The labels have an identification marking on their visible face, and also carry a marking that is invisible to the naked eye. The labels associated with each envelope carry identical markings.
