Abstract

The splint comprises a central section (2) with reinforcing elements and two side sections (3,4) attached to the central section by adhesive fastenings. The central section of the splint has a cover with a series of markings (6) which indicate the angle of flexion of a knee joint as a result of a given movement of the heel. The cover is fitted to the central section by two end flaps and two adhesive side strips, and is easily detachable for cleaning.
