Abstract

The rod unit has an outer sleeve (5) with a male mains plug connector (1) at one end, and a multiple socket female connector (7) at the other end. The socket has a switch (8) switching on the socket which lights up when the socket is activated.Several female mains sockets (6) are placed along the rod, at intervals of 50 cm.
