Abstract

The support structure for sports equipment such as basketball net or traffic signs and the like, is composed of solid components (14, 16, 20, 24, 26, 28) of a durable material, assembled together. When assembled, they form a rigid monobloc structure, resistant to vibration. The bottom section (16) is fitted to a buried foundation (18). The top section (28) has mountings (30) for the supported equipment or panel (12). Pref. the solid material is reinforced concrete, with an outer cladding of PVC.
