Abstract

A heating or cooling plate (1) is bonded with a conducting mastic (2) to an evaporator (3). The evaporator is a copper tube with aluminium fins on one or two faces according to its utilisation. The space between the fins is filled with aluminium filings (4) settled by vibration. An insulating panel (5) of polyurethane foam at the base of the evaporator is encased in steel sheet (6). USE - Maintains temperature regularity on table surfaces displaying food products.
