The subject of the invention is a process for preparing a new granular thermoformable composite material, based on straw or fodder and a device for implementing this process.
Part of the available straw or fodder is currently processed by the food industry into pellets or granules These products are generally intended to be used as direct feed for livestock, t the production of so-called "weights", products with low content into proteins that are mixed with other food products.
These granules are generally produced according to the following method: bales of straw or bales of fodder are crushed in crushers provided with hammer rotors rotating at high speed and grids and reduced to the state of particles.
The latter are entrained towards cyclones so as to separate the air from the fodder and then filtered in order to remove the finest elements,
your particles are then mixed, mechanically stirred in a mixer for other granules in pellet presses, equipped with annular dies pierced with multiple holes called dies.
The process for recovering straw and fodder also has a low energy coat insofar as it is carried out without requiring external heating in order to mix the straw or fodder with the thermoplastic material or to carry out a polymerization reaction, using pellet presses commonly used in the food industry
This. process also produces.
