Abstract

The invention relates to a tamper-proof device making it possible to program, by cycle or by time counting, the operation of a television set. It includes, in a lockable box: a push button "P" with internal control exciting a relay "RL", a rocker with contacts "H" which is programmable by "CI" in cycle or time counting, a contactor "CC" allowing continuous operation. In time counting, the contactor "CE", which is the sole external control, allows for the choice of operating windows until the selected time is used up. By turning off the power supply, "RL" passes finally to the quiescent state, avoiding timing fraud. The plug of the television set is connected to "U" in the box and the cord is held, after closing, between two coincident semi-circular notches. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to limit the time of use of a television set by children.
