Abstract

The present invention relates to radiography, particularly dental radiography, and its subject is a method and a device for unpacking radiograph packets. A device with linear operation for implementing the method essentially comprises a frame 34 for guiding a carriage 37 moved by means of a screw 38; using a pair of jaws 12, 18, the carriage can grasp a packet 1 inserted into the frame, and move it along a channel 33; during its movement through the channel, the packet first undergoes an operation for slicing its edges using blades 25, then successive inversion which separate the various components of the packet, and in particular the sensitive radiographic plate. The device is in particular applicable upstream of devices for automatic development of the sensitive plate.
