Abstract

The package is made from cardboard, folded into a box shape and with grip slots (13,14) for carrying. Tear lines (5,6) in the sides and top are opened and allow triangular side sections (4) to swing outwards. This provides access to the bottles. Empty bottles can be replaced into the package even when some full bottles remain. The empty bottles are collected for recycling etc. The side sections can be finger slots (9) so that the opening of the tear lines is eased.

Description

 The invention relates to a portable cardboard packaging, closed on all sides, for upright containers, having in its upper part a punch for a gripping hole.

 Such portable packaging is used in particular for bottles. They facilitate the transport of bottles from the point of sale to the home. When the bottles have been emptied, it is desirable to recover them in used glass containers to revalorise them by making new glass objects.

The transportation of bottles from home to the container requires an appropriate basket that is often not available. Thus, in many cases, the bottles are not returned to the spent glass container - as would be desirable - but result in the collection of normal household waste.

 The purpose of the present invention is thus to provide a portable package of the kind indicated at the beginning, which promotes the recovery of empty bottles.

 According to the invention the packaging is characterized by two lines which, delimiting on opposite side faces a lid of substantially triangular shape, extend from the upper face to the front face and are connected at their ends by lines respectively located on the front face and on the upper face, whereas, seen from the front face, the line of the upper face is significantly below the middle of this upper face, and that at least three of the four lines mentioned above are separating perforations, the gripping punch and the surrounding material lying outside said cover.

 The packaging according to the invention allows, by opening its lid, the extraction of the containers through said opening. But this opening also allows the replacement of empty bottles in the portable packaging. As the lid must create a relatively small opening in the packaging it remains strong enough for the transport of empty bottles from home to the used glass container, the hole or holes. can be reused because they are not affected by the lid. It follows that, even after opening, a package remains available for the transport of empty bottles.

 The lid can be delimited on its four sides by lines of perforations; thus, to open, the cover is completely removed.

 In a preferred embodiment, the lid is delimited on one side by a groove. The latter is preferably on the front face, so that the lid is foldable around this line.

When empty bottles are transported, the lid can be raised again and thus helps to keep empty bottles in the packaging even if it is inadvertently held upside down. For this purpose, it will always be possible to lock the lid relative to the rest of the packaging.

 The punching for the gripping can be on one or both side faces, or on the upper face of the package. The line delimiting the lid on the upper face of 1'd allage can be located at a significant distance from the middle of this upper face, so that the latter retains sufficient strength after opening the lid. This strength must still be sufficient when the packaging is provided with a lid at both ends, as is the case in a preferred embodiment.

 In this embodiment, the packaging according to the invention allows an even easier handling, because the full bottles can be extracted on one side of the package, while the empty bottles can be reintroduced by opening at the other end of the package. packaging and may possibly be used to push the full bottles towards the exit side of the package.

 The strength of the open package is also improved If the line on the front side is in the upper half of it.

The portable packages shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 each have two opposite lateral faces 1, two opposite end faces 2, as well as an upper face 3, and a bottom (not shown). In the exemplary embodiments shown, the end faces are formed by flaps hinged to the side faces 1, the upper + 3, and the bottom.

 The two portable packages are each provided at their two ends, a lid 4 having, seen from side, a triangular shape. The covers are delimited on the lateral faces 1 by lines of separation perforations 5 extending obliquely from the upper face 3 to the corresponding front face 2, on the upper face 3 by another line of separation perforations 6, as well as on the front face 2 by a groove 6 '. The covers 4 are detachable from the rest of the package along the lines of perforations 5, 6 and are foldable around the groove on the face. front, so as to form an opening 7 for the extraction of the bottles 8 transported in the package.

 To facilitate the opening of the cover 4, the line of perforations 6 provided on the upper face 3 comprises a miter punching 9 which can be pressed with a finger, which allows the cover 4 to be grasped to exert traction in order to open the perforated lines 6 and 5.

In the embodiment shown in Figure 4i> there is provided a punched gripping hole 13, wide enough for the fingers of a neighboring dwarf, except for the thumb. By depressing the flap of the gripping hole 11 and turning around an upper groove 12, the gripping hole known in itself is opened.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2, there is provided a gripping punch 13 in the form of two opposite punchings of finger holes. By driving significantly smaller flaps 14, it is possible to introduce the thumb and the major, or the thumb and forefinger, in the corresponding holes, and thus wear the package.

 In Figure 2, the two covers are open.

The front opening 7 is thus used for the extraction of still filled bottles 8 while the rear opening 7t serves to introduce empty bottles 8 '. With the empty bottles 8 ', still full bottles can be pushed into the area of the front opening 7.

In both embodiments shown, the package remains portable through the gripping apertures

Portable cardboard packaging, closed on all sides, for upright containers (8), having in its upper part a punch for a gripping hole (10, 13), characterized by two lines which, delimiting on opposite side faces (1) a lid of substantially triangular shape (4), extend from the upper face (3) to the end face (2) and are connected at their ends by lines (6, 67) respectively located on the front face (2) and on the upper face (3), whereas, seen from the front face (2), the line (6) of the upper face is clearly below the middle of this upper face (3), and at least three of the four aforementioned lines <5, 6, 6w) are separation perforation lines, the gripping punch (10, 13) and the surrounding material lying outside said cover (4).  2.
