Abstract

Blade serving, in general, for wiping any surface, in particular for windscreen wiper use. The shape of the blade in the free state is such that once it is installed, the portion which is reserved for wiping exerts a pressure at all points on the surface to be wiped, following its own elastic deformation. Main applications: motor vehicle, aeroplane and boat windscreen wipers.

La lame d'essuyage souple est un organe destiné à assurer la fonction d'essuyage de toute surface devant être débarassée des poussières, impuretés ou liquides qui la couvrent. The flexible wiping blade is a member intended to ensure the wiping function of any surface which must be rid of dust, impurities or liquids which cover it.

ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUE.STATE OF THE ART.

Dans la plupart des cas la fonction essuyage est assurée par un essuieglaces,constitué d'un bras rigide ou de plusieurs bras articulés entre eux et portant un profilé en élastomère en contact avec la surface à essuyer. In most cases, the wiping function is ensured by a wiper, consisting of a rigid arm or of several arms hinged together and carrying an elastomer profile in contact with the surface to be wiped.

BUT DE L'INVENTION. PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION.

La lame d'essuyage souple remédie aux défauts des essuieglaces actuels:Mauvaise répartition de la pression d'essuyage,variation de la pression au cours du cycle d'essuyage;tout en apportant d'autres avantages. The flexible wiping blade remedies the faults of current wipers: Poor distribution of the wiping pressure, variation of the pressure during the wiping cycle; while bringing other advantages.

Les articulations et ressorts divers de l'essuie glaces traditionnel sont remplacés par une lame déformable en tout ses point afin d'assurer une pression de contact dont la valeur et la loi de répartition est déterminée de construction. The various articulations and springs of the traditional windscreen wipers are replaced by a deformable blade at all its points in order to ensure a contact pressure whose value and the distribution law is determined by construction.

De plus,la lame d'essuyage souple permettra d'obtenir:

MOYENS MIS EN OEUVRE.MEANS USED.

La lame d'essuyage souple est une pièce flexible portant à son extrémité (ou en plusieurs endroits) une pièce de fixation ou d'articulation. The flexible wiping blade is a flexible piece carrying at its end (or in several places) a fixing or articulation piece.

La pression entre la lame et la surface à essuyer peut etre constante sur toute la longueur ou être évolutive,par exemple:
-Pression faible près de 1 'articulation,là où la vitesse est faible.
