Abstract

The locking mechanism has a pull rod (3) with a locking member (11) at the end securing the tubular post (2) inside a tube (1) of the bicycle frame. The pull rod has a transverse drilling accommodating an eccentric spindle (6) rotated by a spanner etc. The lower end of the rod can be screwed, extending beyond the post through the locking member. The lower end of the post can have an inclined face (13) working against one (12) on the locking member.
