Abstract

The coaxial cable switching circuit has a differential comparator (40) connected to a cable to be switched to receive a switching pulse from it. The comparator's output is connected to a pulse-width discriminator (55). This discriminator controls switch enabling selective interconnection of the cable with two other coaxial cables (16, 17). The pulse switching circuit may include a latching device, enabling the alternate connection of the other cables to the cable to which the switching pulse is applied. The circuit is partic. adaptable for use with terminals including CRTs and key boards.
