Abstract

The mechanism is for rocking one or more babies at a time, and is connected to cot or pram. It consists of a housing (6) in which is a motor (7) which is for example electric. An output shaft (11) of the motor (7) has an axle (10) and the motor (7) operates at right angles to the direction of movement required, parallel to the rotational axes (12) of the pram wheels. The output shaft consists of a pin (14) parallel to the axle (10) and eccentrically positioned in relation to the axle (10). The mechanism is fixed to the pram or cot by means of a lever (16) pivot-mounted on axle (17) parallel to the rotational axle (10) of the output shaft. The lever (16) has a hole (15) in which the pin (14) slides.
