Abstract

The drain-laying frame is supported between two tractors and supports a share assembly (21). The pipes are gravity fed through the body (22) of the assembly (21) whose working depth is adjustable by a jack (18) operated folding parallelogram (16, 17, 19, 20) frame. The frame has two similar parallel sections connected by lateral bracing. Alternatively, the rear tractor may be replaced by a propulsion unit integrated with the frame, and may have two pairs of drive wheels mounted on a balance beam (14). The assembly is designed to self-level as it advances.
