Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de purification de sérum ou de plasma servant à déceler la présence d'anticorps IgM spécifiques. On met le sérum ou le plasma en contact avec une immunoglobuline IgG liée à une matière inerte en particules, puis on adsorbe avec la protéine A staphyloocccique, qui est soit présente sur les bactéries d'origine, soit liée à un agent de précipitation. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la purification du sérum pour en eliminer l'immunoglobuline anti-IgM connue sous le nom de << RF >>, et aussi l'immunoglobuline IgG, qui gênent la détermination précise des anticorps IgM spécifiques, par un mode opératoire simple et relativement rapide que l'on peut appliquer à de faibles volumes de sérum.
