Abstract

Modular radio receiver esp. for use in vehicles and suitable for inclusion of a tape recorder. The system is designed to maintain overall simplicity of construction, maximise use of available space and include provision for a supply regulation system. The receiver system is built into a basic modular chassis supported from a front plate carrying bolted on 'L' shaped side plates forming the chassis sides. The rear plate carries further plates which carry the low frequency circuits. The FM circuits are also positioned towards the rear and are held by the same plates. The regulation circuit and coils are carried on a 'U' shaped support which also carries the wave change switch shaft.
