Abstract

The visualisation system is used for aircraft controls, to allow the pilot to check each of the various systems. It employs at least one cassette containing a tape band with sign indications marked along its length. The cassette is inserted in the visualisation unit which has an addressing system, with at least one detector, monitoring the position of the cassette tape, so as to a required sign or group of signs in front of a viewing window. Pref the unit can receive a number of cassettes each cassette band having several groups of signs spaced along its length and the cassette bands transported simultaneously, to bring the groups of signs along each cassette band in front of the respective viewing windows.
