Abstract

Remote control of several objects such as cranes is performed using digital transmissions on a single carrier frequency. Addressing problems increase total message length w.r.t. Useful data. This is overcome by transmitting addressing information which is determined by the sequence of useful data. In a transmitter the signal for a particular controlled object is frequency modulated and is of specific length. The signal is received (8) and the first pulse unlatches a clock generator (9). A counting and processing circuit (10) examines the message for time coincidence and if satisfactory the message is stored (11). A second counting and processing circuit (12) determines if the number of information signs received coincides and is so the information is loaded into a memory (13) for decoding (14).
