Abstract

The system treats either a mixture of water and fuel, such as petrol, gas-oil, alcohol, ammonia or any hydrogenous product-or pure water. It causes under certain physical conditions a thermochemical decomposition of the water in the mixture, producing a plasma to generate hydrogen. This is then utilised directly as a source of power in an internal combustion engine, of the piston, turbine, rotary or jet type, or in a heating system. The mixture can be admitted at a variable rate into the equipment and the percentage by weight or volume of the water can vary from 0 to 100% after thermal conditions representing cruising speed have been reached.
