Abstract

The process forms and distributes a fog of liquid particles in suspension in a gas. The fog is created in the centre of a current of gas and the mixture delivered to a chamber, where the particles are selected, and the mixture is then evenly distributed over the various outlets. Any drops which can trickle down the outlet walls can be collected by suction. There can be a sheath (1) connected to a distribution chamber (9) and through which a gas current flows, generated by a fan (3). Pneumatic sprayer (6) inject fluid in the form of a fog into the centre of the current, and the chamber has vanes (16, 17) and deflectors directing the droplets according to size.
