Abstract

The support comprises at least one channel (1) formed in an insulating material, which is designed to receive a group of electric cables. The channel has an openings in its sides through which the cables are passed into it. A cover (10) closes at least the open base so as to retain the cables in the channel (1). The sides of the channel (3, 4) on either side of the opening are profiled such that a cover (10) can be pressed over the opening so as to lock onto the channel sides. Press button type projections (15) are used to fix the channel to a support.
