Abstract
The system allows elimination of the double speed and detachment zones on centrifugal blowers with blades inclined backwards. The blades (5) each have a series of holes (15) formed in them in a line running close to the discharge tip (11). A second row of holes (13) can also be provided along a line parallel to the inlet edge. The invention is particularly for delivering hot gases into a chimney, and avoids the generation of vibration in the conduit etc. The sum of the diameters of the circular holes (15) at the tip is typically between one half and one quarter of the length of the line on which they lie. A similar figure for the circular holes (13) is typically a quarter of the length of line (12).
