Abstract

Battery comprises a metal-air cell and a metal-metal-oxide cell with a common electrolyte and a common negative electrode arranged from the exterior, inwards, first the positive air electrode, then a positive metal oxide electrode then the common negative electrode, the air electrode being carbon or PTFE plus a catalyst. Battery is rechargeable and is suitable for driving automobiles.
