Abstract

A main assembly mounted in bearings inend cheeks fitted to the main frame sides has its shaft parallel to the belt and at each end of that shaft a star of spokes carrying adjustable bearings for a number of different cutting sub-assembly cylinders each also parallel to the belt. A spring loaded locking pin on a crank at the end of the main-shaft locates in index holes in the end check so that any cutter may be locked in the operating position or all may be locked out of action. Each cutter shaft has friction driving discs engaging a roller below the belt. Versatile easy to clean and maintain.
