Abstract

Exploitation of petroleum deposits in heterogeneous zones, i.e. in layers which may be separated by impermeable rock layers, in accordance with the characteristics of the reservoir, by drilling holes in the field and injecting an expulsion agent, pref. water, through some of the holes, with the improvement whereby distinct sectors are defined for independent exploitation after drilling the oil producing holes, such that these sectors comprises one or more injection holes surrounded by production holes and selected so that as far as possible they can reach all the productive layers opened up by the exploitation holes with a high coefficient of productivity surrounding them in their feed zones.
