Abstract

Beverages, such as beer for example, are stabilised against cloud formation by treating them with a composition which contains a mixture of a silica gel and a water-insoluble polyvinyl pyrrolidone. The mixture is prepared by formation of the gel in the presence of polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
