Improvements made to a multi-speed reversible gear shift type transmission including an input shaft, a first gear clamped on said input shaft, a first shaft located in a common plane with said input shaft, a second mounted gear in and capable of rotating with respect to said first axis and that is actively connected with said first gear so that it rotates in the same direction with it, a second axis aligned axially with said input shaft, a first clutch device for connecting said input shaft with said second shaft, a second clutch device for connecting said second gear with said first shaft in order to rotate together with it, a third gear clamped on said second shaft, a fourth gear clamped on said first shaft shaft y coupled with said third gear, a third shaft axially aligned with said first shaft, a third clutch device for connecting said third e with said first axis, a fifth gear mounted on said third axis and capable of rotating with respect to it, a fourth clutch device for connecting said fifth gear with said third axis, a sixth gear fastened on said third axis, said fifth being gear located between said third clutch device and said sixth gear, a seventh gear clamped on said second shaft and coupled with said fifth gear, and an output shaft, said improvements being characterized in that they include means for actively connecting said output shaft at least with said fourth gear.
