Abstract

Improvements in supply circuits for activating the cathode ray kinescope filament of television receivers of the type comprising first and second switching devices operating between conductive and non-conductive states to provide line scanning and recoil parts of the electron beam of the horizontal deviation currents developed for said cathode ray device, and to generate the high voltages necessary for the reproduction of the transmitted image signals fed to said device by means of steps of elaboration or use of the signal included in said receiver, comprising an alternate voltage source, characterized in that said circuits comprise a first device coupled to said source and to said second switch device to provide activation potentials for said cathode ray filament in order to supply energy to said cin scopio; a second device coupled to said source and to said first switch device to provide activation potentials for said stages of signal elaboration or use in order to develop said image signals for reproduction, said second device comprising a third switch device to activate said stages of elaboration or use of the signal when it is desired to activate image reproduction by said television receiver and to deactivate said stages of use of the signal when it is desired to deactivate said image reproduction, said third switch device being able to operate practically independent of said first device to ensure a continuous supply of service voltage to said cathode ray filament, even when said receiver goes into its inactive state.
