Abstract
The invention has been specially designed for testing multiple automotive parts, such as electronic power steering systems, engine electronic control units, ABS and ESP systems, dashboards, etc., involving the use of a user interface (1) associated with an electronic control system (2) to which an adapter stage (3) and the corresponding input and output stage (4) are connected, forming a portable, compact stand-alone device. The device communicates with the device under test (DUT) (20), creating normal control signals in the DUT, as well as emulating the signals of other devices or sensors required for the operation of the DUT. The user interface can be used to select the environment suitable for each DUT, as well as allowing the selection of different situations for same, such as vehicle speeds, sensor variation, switching on/off, etc., allowing the individual filtering of the different nodes as well as the programming and execution of automatic test programs for the DUTs.
