Abstract

Self-contained device for the production of water by solar energy.Consists of a piece of equipment able to produce water in an entirely self-contained way, in other words without using any type of raw material or energy and that can be automatically adjusted both in its operation and in the supply of the product (water) produced.The raw material which is involved in the process is ambient air, which the equipment itself undertakes to draw from the atmosphere, from whose natural humidity the water will be extracted, via the dew point principle, with no raw material as such having to be brought in to the procedure.The Device is in essence a Solar Module (1) which supplies the energy that is necessary for the operation of a Refrigerator Module (2) which cools panels where the ambient air condenses the humidity it contains, as it is forced through them by the Convector Module (4). The condensed Water is collected, treated and stored in the Hydraulic Module (3). Finally, a Control Module (5) contains a programmable logic controller which controls the procedure, as well as the instrumentation and control gear necessary to control the equipment.
