Abstract
Although the machine may be used for obtaining juice from fresh fruit, it applies especially to the production of juice from dried fruit. It consists basically of a body 1 provided with a conduit 3 into which the fruit, placed in an upper hopper 2, is tipped. There is a pusher device 4 which presses the fruit against a rotary disc 5 provided with striations for producing a fine division of the fruit. The rotary disc 5 is located inside a cylindrical chamber which is closed at the front by a cover 11 screwed onto the body 1 and which is traversed coaxially by the rotary shaft of an outside motor 7. The cylindrical chamber 6 has, above the fruit-supply mouth, a small water-supply mouth for continually moistening the crushed product, the juice obtained exiting via a lower nozzle 10.
