Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Registerkorrektur einer Flachbettstanz- und/oder - prägemaschine (100) wobei durch Vermessung des Registers eines jeweiligen Druck- (25) und/oder Stanz- (29) und/oder Präge- und/oder Rillbildes auf einem bahnförmigen Substrat (24) eine Bestimmung einer Registerabweichung und eines Korrekturweges (k) zum Ausgleich der Registerabweichung erfolgt. Dazu wird unter Verwendung eines Querschneiders (10) ein verkürzter oder überlanger Bogen (6) erzeugt, welcher nachfolgend ausgeschleust werden kann. In vorteilhafter Weise wird durch das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zur Registerkorrektur die Registerkorrektur sehr schnell durchgeführt, während nur wenig Makulatur entsteht.
