Description

The present invention relates to an access control device comprising at least one turnstile having a turnstile post and at least one barrier element, which barrier element forms a turnstile arm and is movable into an access blocking position and an access position providing access, wherein a lighting device is provided for illuminating the barrier element is.

Such access control devices control access to rooms located behind the barrier element and can be used, for example, on buildings or squares to control access to the space behind the device for persons. For example, such access control devices can be used on security-sensitive buildings such as banks, casinos, airports or also entry-level buildings and squares such as amusement parks, stadiums and the like. In addition to the access control for persons is in principle but also use for access control for vehicles such as motor vehicles or wheels into consideration, as it is known, for example, in parking garages in the form of parking barriers.

The barrier element blocks in its blocking position an access path or access lock, which leads into the space behind the device, while said access path is released in the access position of the barrier element.

The barrier element may for example form the arm of a turnstile and be rotatably mounted about the axis of rotation of the turnstile. Alternatively, however, the barrier element may also be a flip-back flap, sometimes referred to as a flap gate, which may, for example, be pivoted back and forth about an upright pivot axis which may be located adjacent the access track. The barrier element can also be formed on the manner of a barrier up and down about a horizontal axis, for example in the form of a barrier arm, which can be spent from a lying, across the access path extending blocking position in an upright access position, or in the manner of a sword be translated and extended.

On the one hand, such access control devices should be as safe as possible and resistant to tampering, in particular to prevent them from being passed unauthorized. On the other hand, they should have the most intuitive and easy-to-use handling, which does not deter authorized persons but gives them inviting and easy access.

Although conventional access devices such as person-separating turnstiles with man-high turnstiles offer a relatively high level of protection against unauthorized access, but are relatively large, consuming, little user-friendly and dissuasive. On the other hand, simple turnstiles with, for example, a single locking arm are easy to handle and often do not meet a required level of security.

From the Scriptures WO 2004/092524 A1 is known a revolving door whose door panels are made of glass panels, on the narrow sides of which LED chains are arranged to illuminate the glass panels in color.

From the US 3,913,717 a turnstile is known, which is in the blocking position befindlicher barrier arm illuminated by a lighting device red or green, which lighting device is attached to a post-shaped housing, on which the turnstile is rotatably mounted.

From the Scriptures WO 01/29355 A1 Furthermore, a sliding door is known in whose door panels screens are embedded.

The font FR 2,176,208 discloses a sliding door having lighting devices recessed in the door panels, the door panels being illuminated when the sliding door opens or closes.

Furthermore, from the leaflet "Security Turnstiles - Model CPST" the Fa. Alvarado Manufacturing Co. a rotary gate is known which has a plurality of superimposed, sword-shaped barrier elements which are cantilevered attached to the central pivot post.

From the EP 23 06 406 B1 an access control device for ski lifts is known, in which the barrier element an RFID module is integrated in order to avoid separate attachments for reading RFID access cards and to achieve a compact, small structure. To save power and avoid unnecessary radiation, the RFID module is activated only when an additional sensor detects the approach of a person to the barrier element.

From the EP 22 34 073 A1 For example, a similar access control device with a movable barrier element in the form of a single, reciprocally pivotable barrier arm is known. In order to prevent the barrier element from exceeding the barrier element and crawling underneath the barrier element, sensors, for example in the form of a light barrier or a radar sensor, are provided on the post-shaped portal on which the barrier element is movably mounted, above and below the barrier element, which in the event of overcrowding or undercutting Barrier element alarm.

From the AT 509 119 B1 an access control device for ski lifts is known in which bear right and left of the access track positioned support posts pivotable barrier elements. In addition, protruding plastic bodies are mounted on the said support post parallel to the access path, in which readers for RFID chip cards or similar access opener are housed. In order to support an intuitive operation, lighting means are further attached to the support post in order to illuminate said receptacle body for the card reader in the manner of a traffic light. For example, if the reader recognizes a legitimate card, the reader case will be illuminated in green, while reading an invalid card, the reader case may be illuminated in red.

Furthermore, from the Scriptures DE 10 2010 024 108 A1 a revolving door known whose glass panels consisting of rotary wings are combined to form a turnstile, which can be driven by an electric motor. To set the electric motor in motion, on the one hand, the revolving door partially enclosing, fixedly arranged drum provided a sensor for detecting approaching persons and on the other hand, a door operating switch for manual operation.

Proceeding from this, the present invention has the object to provide an improved access control device of the type mentioned above, which avoids the disadvantages of the prior art and further develops the latter in an advantageous manner. In particular, an intuitive, simple operation with inviting effect on persons with access rights and at the same time high security against unauthorized access should be achieved.

According to the invention, the stated object is achieved by an access control device according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

It is therefore proposed to form the barrier element as an approximately plate-shaped light-emitting element in order to be able to give light signals to the access seeker by directly illuminating the barrier element itself, which are particularly easy to recognize for the access seeker. According to the invention, the barrier element forms an at least approximately plate-shaped luminous element, which is at least partially formed of a transparent material and is attached to a first end portion of the turnstile post and cantilevered with a second end portion. As a result, no separate components are needed, which would require additional space, so that a total small-sized, compact design of the access control device can be achieved. Due to the transparent design of a Drehkreuzarm forming barrier element and its cantilevered attachment directly to the turnstile post allows the turnstile on the closed area behind the turnstile. The at least approximately plate-shaped light-emitting element can be clamped only with a narrow edge strip of its first end portion or otherwise secured to the turnstile posts, while the remaining, much larger part of Carcass of the lighting element unsupported cantilevered away from the attachment point away. The luminous element may have an elongated, significantly longer than wide contour, for example a roughly sword-shaped contour and be clamped only with its narrow end. The said first and second end portions may thus be the ends in longitudinal extension.

Since the luminous element is at least partially made of transparent material, at least when the lighting device is turned off, a view through the barrier element is permitted. In particular, the aforementioned luminous element may be transparent or translucent or translucent in order to enable at least relatively good visibility of the space controlled by the access control device when the lighting device is switched off. Such an at least partially transparent construction of the barrier element makes it possible, for example, to switch off the lighting device in order to allow a closer user to see what the user expects behind the access control device. On the other hand, by switching on the lighting device, the visibility of the barrier element can be increased or assisted in order to prevent unintentional collision with the barrier element.

According to the invention, said lighting device is associated with the barrier element so that it moves with the barrier element when the barrier element is moved into its blocking position and / or in its access position. In this case, the lighting device is integrated into the barrier element, for example, received in the interior of the barrier element or at least be arranged directly on the barrier element. By moving with the barrier element arrangement of the lighting device can be achieved with a simple design lighting device in the various positions of the barrier element equally high-quality lighting. The barrier element can illuminate or be illuminated evenly, independently
of which position it is in and / or whether the barrier element is currently moving or standing still.

The lighting of the barrier element can also be used to selectively convey information to search users in the form of light signals. On the one hand, these can be relatively simple light signals, for example different light colors, which can be achieved by light sources of the illumination device designed in different colors.

On the other hand, however, access to searchers can also be transmitted more complex information, for example in the form of text and / or images. For this purpose, the lighting device can also be formed more complex, for example, comprise a pixel-like luminous dot matrix.

In particular, the lighting device may comprise at least one screen display element, which may be integrated into the barrier element and / or form the barrier element. Such a screen display element may be formed, for example, as a flat screen.

Alternatively or additionally, a screen display element made of electronic paper with image memory function can be provided for the variable display of information. Such an electronic paper, sometimes referred to as an e-paper, regularly comprises at least two thin film layers, between which microcapsules with differently colored pigment particles can be enclosed, which can be electrically charged. The two films serve as a negative electrode or positive electrode, so that depending on the application of the corresponding voltage different pigment particles are aligned to the surface of one or the other film. In particular, each of the mentioned film layers may comprise an electrode grid, whereby a pixel grid and thus a corresponding information representation as on a screen is possible.

Such an electronic paper can be applied, for example, on the aforementioned luminous element. Alternatively, the electronic paper can also be sandwiched between two light-emitting element plates or layers and / or form a layer of the light-emitting element.

In this case, the electronic paper can provide a permanent display of the respective information or the respective symbol even without continuous power supply. Alternatively, however, a volatile formation of the electronic paper may be provided in order to allow undisturbed viewing through the luminous element when switching off the power supply.

In a simple embodiment of the invention bicolored electronic paper can be used whose pixels can be switched back and forth between two color states. In particular, a black / white electronic paper can be used. Alternatively, however, a multicolor electronic paper may be mounted as a display element on the profit roll and / or the control button in the invention, which allows colored representations. Such a multicolor electronic paper can be colored by filters worked on the film of the electronic paper. In a development of the invention, however, a multilayered electronic paper may be provided as a display element in which a plurality of color layers are arranged one above the other, wherein each layer may consist of a pair of films and color pigment particles arranged therebetween. Compared to the aforementioned filter solution, such a multilayer electronic paper is characterized by high color brilliance and clarity of presentation.

In order to be able to change the display displayed by the electronic paper in a simple manner, in a further development of the invention at the barrier element and / or the turnstile, a power and / or data transmission connection be provided, via which the electronic paper can be energized or driven with appropriate data.

Beleuchten lesbare Informationen ergeben.Alternatively or additionally, a more complex information representation can also be achieved by a relief-like surface formation of the luminous element, for example by raised or sunken letter contours, which yield readable information when illuminated or illuminated.

As an alternative or in addition to a visual display of information on the barrier element, the access control device may also comprise an acoustic device that can transmit acoustic information and signals to a user using or approaching the access control device. In particular, feedback on actions associated with access control such as disabling the barrier element, denying access, or triggering other security devices such as light barriers and the like may be displayed acoustically. In a development of the invention, the acoustic device for this purpose can comprise at least one loudspeaker, which can advantageously be provided on a structural element of the access control device, for example a border of the access or a portal, with which said barrier element cooperates.

In a development of the invention, the lighting device can be associated with the lighting element in such a way that the lighting element can be illuminated and / or transilluminated from within. This gives the barrier element a high luminosity from different angles.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the preferably approximately plate-shaped lighting element or light panel can be illuminated at least on the front side of the lighting device areally. The said front side is the area-wise large side of the luminous element, which in the blocking position of the barrier element transversely to the direction of access through the Access control device is aligned or is aligned approximately perpendicular to the viewing axis of a person striving through the access control device. The luminous element may in this case form a substantially flat plate, but alternatively also have a certain curvature, for example in the sense of an arched surface, wherein the surface may advantageously be at least approximately smooth or at least harmoniously contoured. Alternatively, in principle, however, a relief-like contouring of the luminous element is possible, for example, to achieve special lighting effects.

The planar illumination of the luminous element can in principle be carried out in various ways. For example, a grinding obliquely irradiation of the front side to be illuminated may be provided at an acute angle of incidence of the light coming from the illumination device. In particular, the front side of the luminous element can be irradiated obliquely from the front. In this case, the lighting device may comprise at least one light source arranged at an edge of the luminous element, the light of which projects at an acute angle obliquely onto the front side and is reflected or scattered by the latter so that the front side illuminates flatly. Alternatively or additionally, if necessary, the rear side can also be irradiated in a grinding manner in the aforementioned manner, so that the light can pass through the luminous element, which is transparent or translucent, at least in this case, and can be emitted on the front side. The luminous element may be formed at least partially reflective and / or light-scattering, for example satin.

Alternatively or in addition to such coming from the outside lighting the front and / or back of the light element, the light-emitting element can be illuminated in a further development of the invention but also from the inside. For this purpose, the luminous element can be formed, at least in sections, from a light-conducting material and face the illumination device with at least one of its narrow sides, so that light can be coupled into the narrow side of the luminous element from the illumination device. The Coupled light can propagate in the photoconductive material of the luminous element and be emitted via the front and / or back, for example by means of refractive education of the front and / or back.

The lighting device may comprise at least one light source, which is arranged in the narrow side of the luminous element and emits light on said narrow side.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, said lighting device can comprise an LED light strip, which can sit directly on said narrow side of the luminous element, in particular can be attached thereto. Alternatively, however, said LED lighting strip can also be arranged a distance from the narrow side, for example, be attached to an edge of the light emitting element positioned frame and / or support member, which surrounds the lighting element at its edge at least in sections. However, a direct arrangement of the LED light strip on the narrow side of the luminous element may be advantageous in order to achieve the highest possible Einkopplungsgrad.

In a further development of the invention, said LED light strip between the narrow side of the lamp panel and the lamp panel enclosing frame part can be arranged, said frame part in an advantageous embodiment of the invention have a multi-limbed, for example, L-shaped or U-shaped cross-section and the light panel on cover at least two sides, in particular the said narrow side and in the region of a narrow edge strip of the front or back. In a U-shaped cross-sectional configuration of the said frame part, the light panel can be encompassed on three sides, namely from the narrow side and the two adjacent, opposite front and back sides. As a result, a protected arrangement of the LED light strip can be achieved. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the aforementioned enclosing Be frame part in the form of an elongated thin profile member or in the form of a narrow edge web, the thickness and height compared to the transverse and longitudinal extent of the light element is very small, in particular only a narrow edge strip of the light panel surrounds.

In an advantageous development of the invention, essentially the entire surface of the lighting element can be illuminated by the lighting device. For example, only a narrow edge strip bordered by the abovementioned edge web and possibly a fastening section of the luminous element can be excluded from the illuminability. The non-illuminated surface and / or the non-visible illuminated surface of the luminous element may advantageously be less than 10% of the total surface area of the luminous element.

In order to achieve a high level of security against unauthorized access in the form of overshoot or underrun of the barrier element, a sufficiently large-area, in particular sufficiently high and ground-level design of the barrier element can be provided in a development of the invention. If a transparent or at least translucent light-emitting element is used for the barrier element in the manner described above, an inviting effect can nevertheless be achieved with intuitive operability and a deterrent effect can be avoided.

According to the invention, a plurality of barrier elements are arranged one above the other and jointly form an access barrier, wherein said plurality of barrier elements can be arranged at least approximately in a common, upright plane. The said plurality of barrier elements in this case form strip-shaped locking arms, which are each formed in the aforementioned manner as a luminous element and spaced from each other. As a result, different light effects at different sections of the barrier can be realized in a simple manner,
for example, by illuminating different barrier elements in different ways.

In order to further improve the security of access control and, for example, to avoid abusive overshoot or underrun of the barrier element, in an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a sensory monitoring device for monitoring the lockable by the at least one barrier element access can be provided, wherein the sensor device in particular a space area unobstructed by the barrier element and / or can monitor a space area adjacent to the barrier element. In an advantageous development of the invention, the sensor device can monitor a space region above the at least one barrier element in its blocking position and / or a spatial region below said barrier element, wherein the sensor device can advantageously be such that a signal is emitted when an object enters the said space is, for example, to trigger alarm, which can be issued, for example, from the aforementioned acoustic device.

The sensor device can be coupled to a control device of the access control device in order to emit a signal only when the barrier element is in its blocking position and / or not enabled to avoid erroneous displays when authorized access pass.

The sensor device mentioned here can in principle be designed differently, for example comprising a light barrier sensor system and / or a radar sensor. Advantageously, the sensor device can be attached to a side boundary and / or an upper limit, which encloses the access. For example, the sensor system can be integrated in a portal, which encloses the access controlled by the barrier element. If the barrier element is integrated in a turnstile in the manner described above, can the sensor device monitors the space above the turnstile bordered by the portal. The access control device may include a plurality of access locks, for example, an access lock for a controlled access into a room and an exit lock to exit from said space, said exit lock may be formed, for example, as an emergency exit lock. The aforementioned access lock and said exit lock can have a different design, wherein, for example, in development of the invention, at least one access turnstile and at least one exit flap gate or an exit barrier can be provided. The said access turnstile and said exit, in particular emergency exit barrier may each comprise at least one illuminable barrier element as described above.

In order to enable a variable use in different places without complex installation work, for example, to be able to demarcate variably different room areas in a casino or a function room, it can be provided that the movable barrier element is mounted on a barrier support, the freestanding ground contact means for anchoring-free, position variable installation of the barrier element on the floor. By means of such a barrier support with the mentioned ground contact means, the access control device can be used in particular without anchoring in the ground functioning, the ground contact means may advantageously be designed to be displaceable on the ground in order to move the entire access control device, but at least the barrier element on the ground.

In particular, a base plate may be provided, the underside of which may form said ground contact means or which base plate may be connected to said ground contact means. For example, the bottom plate may have protrusion protrusions or bulges on its underside, so that the entire underside of the bottom plate does not stand up on the ground, but only the mentioned uprising, for example, to ensure a secure footing even on uneven floors. Alternatively or additionally, support arms or the like may be attached to said bottom plate forming said bottom support means. The said base plate does not have to form a plate in the strict sense of a flat panel, but may also be in the form of a support or frame construction or a truss structure or similar dimensionally stable structure whose Aufstandsspunkte lie in a plane or advantageously formed adjustable could be.

In particular, a carrier carrying the aforementioned barrier element, in particular in the form of a turnstile post, can be supported on such a base plate, so that said carrier, in particular turnstile post, does not have to be anchored in the ground.

Advantageously, said base plate may connect the barrier-carrying support, in particular the turnstile post, to an access-bordering lateral boundary, in particular in the form of a portal post, so that the support of the barrier element and the lateral boundary over the base plate form a structural unit which is simpler Way can be set up.

In particular, the turnstile post carrying the barrier element may be supported on the floor with a lower end above said floor panel and hinged at an upper end to a gantry cross member connected to said gantry post. In particular, the portal, the base plate and the turnstile can form a preassemblable subassembly and / or a structural unit which, as such, can be displaced variably, in particular slidably displaced on the ground, in order to delimit a desired spatial area.

In order to be able to demarcate variably different areas of space and to allow an adaptation of structural space elements such as walls and the like, the at least one barrier element laterally enclosing and / or continuing side boundary is provided, which has a modular structure and is composed of several side panels, the variably settable are and together form the aforementioned side demarcation. Such a modular side boundary of the access device can easily allow its connection to given spatial structures such as room walls, even if different room dimensions are given.

The side parts can be hinged together by articulated connection means, so that they can be positioned in different angular positions to each other. The articulated connection means are advantageously detachable in order to connect a different number of side parts in the manner mentioned, depending on how far the side boundary should extend.

In particular, the articulated connection means can realize an upright hinge axis which connects adjacent side parts with each other, so that adjacent side parts can hinge relative to one another about the upright axis connecting them. Advantageously, the side delimitation by means of appropriate hinge connection means is also articulated to an access, which can be locked by the barrier element, bordering side boundary, in particular in the form of a portal post, connectable and opposite this side boundary in different angular positions can be brought. In particular, the side boundary may advantageously hinge about an upright axis opposite the portal that encloses the access.

As Fig. 1 to 4 show, the access control device 1 may be formed as a passenger access control, which separates an access-controlled room, for example, behind the access control device 1 from another room, for example, in front of the access control device 1. The access control device 1 can comprise a portal 2, which comprises two portal posts arranged to the right and left of an access path, to which further blocking means such as walls, a fence or the like can connect on the right and left. As Fig. 1 shows, the said portal 2 may comprise a transverse strut, which connects the portal posts at the upper end, so that the portal 2 is formed overall in the manner of a door frame.

The access through said portal 2 controls a movable barrier, which may be in the form of a turnstile 3 and may extend in the passage cross-section enclosed by the portal 2. In particular, said turnstile 3 may comprise an upright pivot axis 16 along which a central turnstile post 17 extends, which is rotatably mounted at its lower and / or upper end and can be rotatably driven in a conventional manner by a drive, not shown.

On the said turnstile post 17 are mounted transversely projecting barrier elements 5, which in several groups - Fig. 1 in three groups - may be circumferentially distributed around the turnstile post 12 to divide the space around the turnstile post 12 into several sectors. Advantageously, in each case a plurality of barrier elements 5 are arranged one above the other, which can lie in an upright plane, in particular in a plane parallel to the turnstile post 17 or in a plane containing the axis of rotation of the turnstile, as this Fig. 1 shows, but may also have a slight offset to each other, for example, to give more leg or step freedom. Advantageously, the approximately extend in a level arranged barrier elements 5 so close to the ground that undercrawling is prevented, and on the other hand so far in the height that a rise is prevented. Overall, an approximately man-sized barrier can be formed, which, as Fig. 1 shows, composed of several superposed barrier elements 5 can. Alternatively, it would also be possible to form a barrier element 5 so high that an appropriately man-sized barrier is formed.

The turnstile 3 and its barrier elements 5 cover an approximately approximately cylindrical space, which may be bordered by approximately drum-shaped arranged boundary walls 18. As Fig. 1 shows, the said boundary walls 18 may be formed of glass or plastic panels which are attached to boundary posts.

The said hub 3 forms insofar an access lock and controls the access hereby. For example, the turnstile 3 can basically be locked and unlocked by detection means 13 which detect an access-seeking person and / or record the authorization of an access searcher. For example, the mentioned detection means 13 may comprise an identification reader 19, by means of which, for example, an RFID chip, an identity card or similar access code means can be read. If necessary, fingerprint readers, iris readers or just ticket readers are also possible.

If the turnstile 3 has a rotary drive, the drive can be set in motion by the detection means 13 if an authorized person is detected in order to continue to turn the barrier elements 5 on the turnstile 3 and thereby release the access.

As Fig. 1 shows, in addition to the turnstile 3, a further access or exit lock can be provided, which can also be locked by three superimposed barrier elements 5 and regularly blocked is and can only be unlocked in a similar manner as described by detection means 13.

The barrier elements 5 of the exit lock 4 can be designed as pivotable flaps or as a flap gate, wherein the horizontally arranged barrier elements 5 can be pivotably mounted at one of their ends about upright pivot axes. The aforementioned exit lock 4 can serve in particular as an emergency exit.

Similarly as described for the turnstile 3, the barrier elements 5 of the exit lock 4 can also form a substantially man-high barrier in order to prevent both overshoot and underrun.

As Fig. 5 shows, the barrier elements 5 may each comprise a transparent and illuminable lighting element 6, which may be formed substantially plate-shaped and may consist of a transparent and photoconductive material such as glass or plastic. The aforementioned light-emitting elements 6 or light-emitting panels are in each case held on one of its edge sections, for example by two fastening flanges 20, between which an edge section of the respective lighting element 6 can be sandwiched and clamped. Alternatively or additionally, a corresponding slot can be provided in the turnstile post, into which one end of the luminous element 6 can be inserted, wherein a fixation can be provided by means of elastic clamping, by means of adhesive or positively by means of, for example, a screw connection to the turnstile post. Such fixation by means of elastic clamping, by means of adhesive or positively by means of bolts or rivets or the like. Can also be provided independently of a slot in the turnstile posts.

The light-emitting elements 6 are thus each attached to a first end portion 6.1 on the turnstile posts and collar with a second end 6.2 free. The respective lighting element 6 can only with a narrow Edge strip of its first end portion 6.1 clamped or otherwise secured to the turnstile posts, while the remaining, significantly larger part of the body of the light-emitting element 6 cantilevered away unsupported away from the attachment point. The luminous element may have an elongated, significantly longer than wide contour, for example a roughly sword-shaped contour and be clamped only with its narrow end. The said first and second end sections 6.1 and 6.2 can thus be the ends in the longitudinal direction.

Moreover, the lighting elements 6 cantilever freely and apart from the lateral clamping or attachment have no further storage or support means.

In order to be able to display information on the luminous elements 6, a display element can be provided on the luminous elements 6, in particular in the form of so-called electronic paper. In this case, the electronic paper of the display element can consist of films or thin layers arranged one above the other in a manner known per se, between which microcapsules having color pigment particles floating in a liquid are arranged, which are electronically loadable and alignable. The films are provided with suitable electrodes in order to be able to align the color pigment particles floating in a liquid between the films in the desired manner in a pixel-like manner. Such an electronic paper is advertised for example by the company Fujitsu under the name "Substrate-based Electronic Paper". Alternatively, Xerox offers an electronic paper called "Gyricon".

As an alternative or in addition to such electronic paper, screens can be integrated into the lighting elements 6 or at least partially form them, in particular in the form of LED or LCD flat screens in the form of tablet displays.

Fig. 5. The lighting device 7 for illuminating the lighting elements 6 of the barrier elements 5 may further comprise LED light strips 12, which may each be arranged on a narrow side of the light element 6, for example, may be glued thereto, cf. Fig. 5 , The said LED light strip 12 may extend along at least one of the long narrow sides of the luminous element 6, but may also be guided circumferentially around a plurality of narrow sides of the luminous element 6 or arranged piecewise on the upper and lower narrow sides of the luminous element 6.

In particular, the said LED light strips 12 can be arranged between the respective narrow side of the luminous element 6 and an edge border, which surrounds the respective luminous element 6 at the edge. This edge enclosure may for example be formed by an edge web 10, which have a U-shaped cross-section and the edges of the respective lighting element 6 can grip around from three sides, so that the LED light strip 12 in the bottom of the U-shaped recess of the edge web 10 sits , Through this edge web 10, see. Fig. 5 , the respective LED light strip 12 is protected against external influences.

The light emitted by the LED light strips 12 is introduced or radiated into the light elements 6 via said narrow sides, so that the light can propagate in the light elements 6 and illuminates them substantially completely. By refraction, the light can escape via the large-area front and rear sides of the respective lighting element 6, so that the lighting element 6 illuminates a large area from the inside.

Fig. 5, weitere LEDs oder andere Lichtquellen umfassen. In addition or possibly as an alternative to such internal illumination of the lighting elements 6, these may possibly also be irradiated from the outside, in particular from an edge section of the lighting element 6, so that the light emitted by the lighting device 7 rubs at an acute angle onto the front and / or back falls. For this purpose, the lighting device 7, for example, in the area of said Mounting flanges 20, see. Fig. 5 , other LEDs or other light sources.

The lighting device 7 can advantageously comprise light sources of different colors and / or light sources variable in the color temperature, in order to be able to illuminate the barrier elements 5 in different colors and to be able to achieve different lighting effects. For example, differently colored LEDs may be provided in the form of the previously described LED light strip 12. In this case, light sources of different colors may be provided on a barrier element 5 and / or light sources of different color temperature may be arranged on different barrier elements 5.

Depending on the location and purpose of the access control device 1, the lighting device 7 can be controlled in various ways. For example, when used in a casino or a gaming facility, various lighting effects may be achieved in the form of changes in the color of the lighting, light pulses by turning on or off, or pulsed changes in light color and / or intensity.

Fig. 6. Advantageously, the lighting device 7 can also be controlled by control means 14 and 15, which take into account the movement of the turnstile 3 or the barrier elements 5 and / or take into account signals of the detection means 13, cf. Fig. 6 , For example, the barrier elements 5 of the turnstile 3 can be illuminated in a different way when the turnstile rotates than when the turnstile 3 is stationary. For example, a pulsed illumination of the barrier elements 5 may be provided when the turnstile 3 rotates, while a static or constant illumination can be generated when the turnstile 3 is stationary.

Alternatively or additionally, the lighting device 7 can be variably controlled as a function of the detection of an access searcher or his authorization. For example, if of the Identification reader 19 a valid ticket or a valid ticket is detected, a green illumination of the barrier elements 5 are provided, while on detection of an invalid ticket, a red illumination of the barrier elements 5 can be provided.

Fig. 7 shows a further embodiment of the access control device 1, the execution of the FIGS. 1 to 6 basically in many details, in particular the training of the illuminable barrier elements 5 corresponds or is similar, so that reference is made in principle to the above description. Basically, all statements apply to the FIGS. 1 to 6 also for the execution of FIGS. 7 and 8th , The execution after Fig. 7 and 8th has the following additional features:
As Fig. 7 and 8th show, advantageously, the turnstile 3, in particular its turnstile posts 21 may be supported on a bottom plate 22, which may be advantageously connected to the access enclosing portal 2, in particular its portal post 2a. Said bottom plate 22 may be rigidly connected to the portal post 2a at the lower end of the portal post 2a, for example screwed or otherwise attached, and extending to the lower end of the turnstile post 21, for example via a roller or sliding bearing or other pivot bearing may be rotatably supported on the bottom plate 22. As a result, no ground anchoring needs to be provided for the turnstile 3. In addition, the entire access control device 1 can be set up in a simple manner at different locations, for example, be moved or crazy on the ground, without the portal 2 would have to be adjusted relative to the turnstile 3.

The base plate 22 advantageously forms free-standing, anchorage-free, positionally variable, floor standing means 23 for the barrier support of the movable barrier element 5, which barrier support may be designed in the form of the turnstile 3 shown.

Furthermore, how can Fig. 7 shows, connect to the portal 2 laterally a modular side shield 24, which can be composed of several side parts 25 variable in different configurations.

The said side parts 25 may form, for example, wall elements, for example in the form of at least partially transparent panels made of an at least partially transparent material such as glass or plastic, for example Plexiglas, but instead of such planar panel elements, other side parts, for example in the form of a grid, a picket fence or similar training can be provided. If the side parts 25 comprise partially transparent and / or light-conducting panels as mentioned above, the side parts 25 can basically be illuminated and provided with a lighting device, as described above for the barrier elements 5, in order also to be able to bring about different light effects in the area of the side parts 25 , In this respect, reference is made to the previous description concerning the barrier elements 5.

The side parts 25 are releasably connectable to each other, and advantageously in an articulated manner, so that the side parts 25 can be set to each other in different angular positions. In particular, joint connection means may be provided between adjacent side parts 25, which realize an upright hinge axis, so that adjacent side parts 25 can hinge relative to one another along their mutually facing, adjacent side edges.

As Fig. 7 shows, between the side members 25 connecting posts 26 may be provided, on which the side parts 25 may each be pivotally articulated about an upright hinge axis 26. The said connection posts 28 can have their own joint connection means 27 for each connectable side part 25, so that the adjacent side parts 25 can pivot about two separate hinge axes. It goes without saying that Also, a common hinge axis 26 between two adjacent side members 25 may be provided.

Fig. 7.The Seitenabsperrung 24 is advantageously also hinged to the portal 2, and advantageously also to an upright hinge axis 26. For this purpose, 25 corresponding hinge connection means 27 may be provided on the portal post 2a and / or on the side panels, see. Fig. 7 ,

Fig. 7.In order to avoid overshooting the turnstile 3 and / or the outlet lock provided next to it and / or passing under the lowest barrier elements 5, sensory monitoring of the space above and below the turnstile 3 or the uppermost and lowermost barrier element 5 may be provided his. A corresponding sensor device 29 may be designed, for example, in the form of a light barrier and / or comprise radar sensors which monitor said spatial region. Advantageously, the sensor device 29 may be integrated in the portal 2 or attached thereto. For example, light barrier sensor elements may be mounted on the opposing portal posts 2a to communicate with each other above and / or below the uppermost and lowermost barrier elements and detect an unauthorized passage, cf. Fig. 7 ,

Fig. 7.Furthermore, how can Fig. 7 shows an acoustic device provided, for example, be attached to the portal 2, in order to also output acoustic information and signals. For example, audible feedback may be related to access control actions such as unlocking, denying access, activating photocell, and so forth. For example, a user with the message "Please pass" the release of the hub 3 will be communicated. Alternatively or additionally, the acoustic device may be connected to the aforementioned sensor device 29 in order to prevent unauthorized exceeding of the turnstile Alarm message to signal. The acoustic device 30 may comprise a loudspeaker 31, for example on the portal 2, cf. Fig. 7 ,
