- edge webs on the lid namely the lid edge webs
- Edge webs on the body namely the body edge webs, designed as rib webs, which are usually flat in the height dimension. They may have staggered gaps between them at certain intervals. This not only prevents the ingress of external water preventing sealing system, but also a labyrinth system that ensures the escape of condensation from the drying room in the wet room.
- the main body of the generic water heater at two broad sides in each case in an openings having edge surface of a monolithic region, namely the opening edge surface with water channels, which together form a channel cavity, open.
- the opening edge surfaces and the cover edge parts are joined to each other in a watertight and pressure-tight manner.
- sealed bridge channels are formed between the lid edge portions and the opening edge surfaces, which connect adjacent channel openings with each other.
- the main body extends in the longitudinal dimension mostly longer than in the width dimension, so in the two dimensions, the aspect ratio may be reversed or the lengths may be at least substantially equal.
- the basic body is a cuboid structure. It can also be at least partially round.
- the body front side of the main body is always to be understood as the dry room facing side and the body rear side facing away from the drying space regardless of the name, orientation and / or arrangement of the side of the water heater or its housing.
- To equip known electric water heater of the type mentioned belongs to a monolithic middle part forming base body with two end faces forming broadsides, to each of which a lid edge part is attached in the impact seat over the entire surface of the broadside.
- the end faces form the opening edge surfaces.
- the front side is a separation and joint surface, which is bounded by a circumferential groove on the body, which is divided as such in joints of different directions along respective body sides.
- the lid edge portion sits in the manner of a disc against the opening edge surface, wherein the joints between the body edge webs and the cover edge webs are determined solely by the edges of the abutting surfaces between the lid edge portion and the body.
- This separation construction remains unsatisfactory in terms of sufficiently dense, defined and simple, jet water passage through the web system sealing seal.
- the pressure and water seal along the said bridge channels is impaired or associated with special sealing measures.
- the butt joint of the lid edge part with the main body which is usually produced by screw connection, is particularly stressed on bending.
- the production of both the tightness of the web system, as well as the channel connections requires a correspondingly high clamping force, which is applied to the entire broad side of the body with a variety of clamping points.
- objectives of the invention are to improve the generic water heater in terms of simple design, the sealing property of the web system between the body and the outer casing and the connection of the lid edge portion with the opening edge surface.

- the web system comprises at least one free of the transverse joints, forming a sealing ridge body edge web that passes the opening edge surface without joints.
- At least one sealing web of the web system formed on at least one monolithic region or part of the base body crosses or bridges the opening edge surface and that this sealing web is interrupted by no parting line separating the cover edge part from the main body. It is achieved that the outer contour of the base body is completely closed along at least one sealing line of the joint-free sealing web without gap. Also, only parting lines are formed between the lid edge part and the main body, which are formed by separating surfaces, which are directed transversely to the opening edge surface. These dividing surfaces can be adjacent to each other to minimize the joints. However, the parting surfaces can also be relatively widely spaced, so that with parting lines then channel or shaft-like areas or generally separation areas / spaces between the separating surfaces are designated. There are several advantages.
- the joint-free, i. without cross-dividing joint continuous web simplifies the design of the body.
- the sealing property of the web system is improved by eliminating conventional joint gaps between the lid edge portion and the base body. This avoids special density adjustments and additional sealants. This leads, in particular with regard to series production, to cost savings and simplification of assembly. Nevertheless, the sealing function of the web system between the main body and the outer housing is reliable and defined. Conventional mating inaccuracies between sealing webs are eliminated.
- the connection of the cover part with the main body is improved.

- in connection with this configuration may be formed on the lid edge portion and in its area on the body edge side in the height dimension juxtaposed ribs whose number is greater than that of correspondingly arranged ribs in portions of the body edge side adjacent to the lid edge portion.
- the rigidity at the body edge side provided with the lid edge part or in particular at the broad side of the main body is increased by such ribs.
- said ribs comprise sealing webs of the web system whose number is greater in the section corresponding to the cover edge part than in sections which adjoin the cover edge part.
- the at least one joint-free body edge web is an in the height dimension of the body on the body edge side outer, located towards the front of the body web. In conjunction with the aforementioned circumferential web formation and arrangement, it is achieved that the edge or the edge surface of the front side of the main body, in cooperation with the outer housing, form the circumferential web seal between the outer housing and the main body.

The invention relates to an electric instantaneous water heater for hot water, comprising a extending in the longitudinal, width and height body with a body front side, a body back, a body height in the height dimension determining body edge side between the front body and the body back and one within a monolithic part of the A body formed cavity, wherein the body back forms a rear wall and a rear wet area of a front-side drying space and wherein the body edge side has an opening edge surface in which the cavity is open with an opening, comprising the opening edge surface associated, she covering lid edge portion with a lid outside, wherein formed on the opening edge surface free body edge side outwardly projecting body edge webs and on the outside of the lid to the outside protruding cover edge webs sin d, and comprising an outer housing in which the base body is seated, wherein the base body and the lid edge part via joints which are directed to Kƶrperrandstegen and lid edge webs transversely adjacent to each other and wherein the Kƶrperrandstegege and the cover edge webs sealing webs between the main body and the outer casing of the water heater form fitted, against jet water sealing web system.
Known electric water heaters of the type mentioned it is peculiar that the main body forms a particular one-piece mounting body, are mounted or arranged on the front side, namely in the drying space between its located in the water heater front or inside and the outer housing components of an electric heater. Such components include, for example, electrical circuit boards and their assembly, in particular with electronic power switching elements, such as triacs, transformers, capacitors and cartridges. The sealing webs of the web system border precisely on the inside of the outer housing, usually in the form of a front device hood, so close to that dripping water, water spray and / or jet water can not get into the drying room. Usually, edge webs on the lid, namely the lid edge webs, and Edge webs on the body, namely the body edge webs, designed as rib webs, which are usually flat in the height dimension. They may have staggered gaps between them at certain intervals. This not only prevents the ingress of external water preventing sealing system, but also a labyrinth system that ensures the escape of condensation from the drying room in the wet room. Usually, the main body of the generic water heater at two broad sides in each case in an openings having edge surface of a monolithic region, namely the opening edge surface with water channels, which together form a channel cavity, open. The opening edge surfaces and the cover edge parts are joined to each other in a watertight and pressure-tight manner. Usually sealed bridge channels are formed between the lid edge portions and the opening edge surfaces, which connect adjacent channel openings with each other.
Although the main body extends in the longitudinal dimension mostly longer than in the width dimension, so in the two dimensions, the aspect ratio may be reversed or the lengths may be at least substantially equal. In most cases, the basic body is a cuboid structure. It can also be at least partially round. The body front side of the main body is always to be understood as the dry room facing side and the body rear side facing away from the drying space regardless of the name, orientation and / or arrangement of the side of the water heater or its housing.
To equip known electric water heater of the type mentioned belongs to a monolithic middle part forming base body with two end faces forming broadsides, to each of which a lid edge part is attached in the impact seat over the entire surface of the broadside. The end faces form the opening edge surfaces. The front side is a separation and joint surface, which is bounded by a circumferential groove on the body, which is divided as such in joints of different directions along respective body sides. These joints are exclusively, according to the side names of the body, on the long sides, the front and the back of the body composite formed from the body and the lid edge parts free. As a result, the interface forming the seams is parallel with the opening edge surface and is transverse or perpendicular to the water channels directed. The lid edge portion sits in the manner of a disc against the opening edge surface, wherein the joints between the body edge webs and the cover edge webs are determined solely by the edges of the abutting surfaces between the lid edge portion and the body. This separation construction remains unsatisfactory in terms of sufficiently dense, defined and simple, jet water passage through the web system sealing seal. In addition, the pressure and water seal along the said bridge channels is impaired or associated with special sealing measures. The butt joint of the lid edge part with the main body, which is usually produced by screw connection, is particularly stressed on bending. The production of both the tightness of the web system, as well as the channel connections requires a correspondingly high clamping force, which is applied to the entire broad side of the body with a variety of clamping points. The interruption of all circumferential dividers by vertical separation or abutting surfaces leads to sealing problems between the web system and the outer housing. Biegeverspannung the abutting surfaces can cause the dividing webs in the region of the parting line, even if only slightly offset from each other. Such an offset, for example of the order of 1/10 mm, leads to unacceptable leakage between the free web edges and the outer housing. This has in practice the consequence that over the height of the body, the number of circumferential sealing webs is increased and / or additional sealing means are provided to adapt the body, the cover parts on the broad sides and the hood of the water heater in interaction with each other in terms of sealing requirements and to each other. These measures affect especially a series production. They involve costs and still leave sealing problems. Here is the invention to remedy the situation.
Thereafter, objectives of the invention are to improve the generic water heater in terms of simple design, the sealing property of the web system between the body and the outer casing and the connection of the lid edge portion with the opening edge surface. In particular, improved mass production, cost reduction of the production and improvement of all sealing compounds are to be achieved.
The objectives of the invention are achieved in conjunction with the features of the above-mentioned electric instantaneous heater in that the web system comprises at least one free of the transverse joints, forming a sealing ridge body edge web that passes the opening edge surface without joints.
Particular features of the invention are that at least one sealing web of the web system formed on at least one monolithic region or part of the base body crosses or bridges the opening edge surface and that this sealing web is interrupted by no parting line separating the cover edge part from the main body. The joint-free, i. without cross-dividing joint continuous web simplifies the design of the body. The sealing property of the web system is improved by eliminating conventional joint gaps between the lid edge portion and the base body. The connection of the cover part with the main body is improved.
The at least one joint-free body edge web or each joint-free body edge web expediently run parallel to the opening edge surface. The at least one joint-free body edge web is preferably part of a one-piece main body. The at least one joint-free body edge web is particularly advantageously formed circumferentially on the edge side of the main body. Such a circumferential joint-free body edge web can in preferably parallel arrangement with further circumferential Edge webs to be interrupted by web gaps. It is a known Wegelabyrinth for discharging condensation water from the drying room in the wet room. Under a peripheral edge web is generally understood over the entire edge side formed on the base web formed, which can be divided by labyrinth gaps in a plurality of webs, which then form portions of the circumferential ridge. At body corners, which also divide the circumferential bridge into sections, it is continuous or uninterrupted. Advantageously, the outer casing of the water heater on a circumferential housing inner edge, which is adapted to the circumference seamless circumferential edge web such that circumferentially, optionally by positive engagement, between the outer casing and the jointless body edge web a passage of jet water blocking seal is made.
One embodiment consists in that a parting line parallel to the joint-free body edge web is formed between the joint-free body edge web and the cover edge part. Suitably, the parallel parting line between the joint-free sealing body edge web and a parallel sealing web is formed. These measures contribute to the special seal between the joint-free body edge web and the outer housing.
In a preferred embodiment, the joint-free body edge web is at least partially formed by a portion of the lid edge portion at least partially, optionally in the form of seat, on receiving frame, which is formed on the base body. Suitably, the body front side of the body has a side edge, which forms the joint-free body edge web. The lid edge part can be encapsulated in a border defining the opening edge surface, which is formed on the base body, in particular be inserted there.
According to a design according to the invention, parting lines are formed between the main body and the lid edge part, which are sections of a ring-opening seam that is preferably completely, namely closed, surrounding the opening edge surface. A portion of the ring separation is advantageously formed by said parallel separation joint. The ring parting line has an outer edge at least partially delimiting the lid outer side, which is directed transversely to the opening edge surface.
The lid edge part can be configured in a special way in order to further improve or simplify the sealing function of the web system with joint-free body edge web forming the essential sealing web. One measure may be that at least in a central region of the lid outer side formed cover edge webs are aligned with body edge webs on the body edge side. A cover outer surface carrying the cover edge webs and an outer surface of the main body edge side which adjoins the cover edge part can adjoin one another steplessly in a matching surface plane.
The lid edge part may be formed higher than the main body edge side in the height dimension of the base body. In particular, in connection with this configuration may be formed on the lid edge portion and in its area on the body edge side in the height dimension juxtaposed ribs whose number is greater than that of correspondingly arranged ribs in portions of the body edge side adjacent to the lid edge portion. The rigidity at the body edge side provided with the lid edge part or in particular at the broad side of the main body is increased by such ribs. Advantageously, said ribs comprise sealing webs of the web system whose number is greater in the section corresponding to the cover edge part than in sections which adjoin the cover edge part.
According to one embodiment, the at least one joint-free body edge web is an in the height dimension of the body on the body edge side outer, located towards the front of the body web. In conjunction with the aforementioned circumferential web formation and arrangement, it is achieved that the edge or the edge surface of the front side of the main body, in cooperation with the outer housing, form the circumferential web seal between the outer housing and the main body.
The solution according to the invention is generally provided for each sealed edge edge area closed sealed edge surface of the body of a water heater. The measures according to the invention are particularly advantageous in the case of a continuous flow heater, which comprises two opposite broad sides, in each of which a cover edge part set against the associated opening edge surface is enclosed. Especially are in a conventional manner in the base body in its longitudinal dimension extending, preferably parallel water channels formed which are open in both opening edge surfaces and form the said cavity, wherein the cover edge portions form together with the opening edge surfaces bridge channels, through the respectively adjacent in the opening edge surfaces channel openings sealed together for passage of water.
The instantaneous water heater according to the invention, which comprises at least one cover edge part forming a sealing element, which forms a part of the web system with sealing webs, permits a particularly advantageous design and arrangement of the lid edge part. On at least one edge side portion of the base body, the opening edge surface may be arranged and formed such that the opening edge surface with associated lid edge portion forms a part of the body edge portion occupying only about 1/4 to 2/3 of the entire edge side portion. The body edge section is, in particular, the or each broad side of the basic body which, moreover, has longitudinal sides as further edge side sections. In general, the formation of the lid edge part in conjunction with the at least one continuous, joint-free body edge web as part of the body edge section, in particular the broad side, entails the advantage that the cover part is enclosed with a relatively small cover surface in a reliable sealing seat in an associated enclosure and yet easy, namely with relatively little attachment points can be attached. A considerable advantage consists in the reduction of the lid edge portion or the opening edge surface to only about 1/4 to 2/3 of the entire body edge portion, while conventional basic body of the generic water heater cover edge portions have, each forming the entire broad side of the body. In this case, the outer contour of the body remains closed by means of the joint-free body edge web along the broad side or generally a portion of a body edge side in itself.

The water heater 1 further comprises cover-forming monolithic edge portions, which are referred to as
In the opening
The edge side 23 of the
The
The circumferential sealing
The joint-free
The ring parting line 273 comprises first sections, namely transverse parting lines 272, which traverse the circumferential sealing
For example, as shown, the
The
