Description

The invention relates to a locking arrangement for locking a door to a counterpart. The door may be, for example, a hinged door or a sliding door. By way of example, said counterpart can also be formed by a pivotable door leaf, a sliding door, a door frame or a building wall. In particular, such a locking arrangement serves as a retrofittable additional securing means to lock the rear doors of a delivery vehicle to each other. In general, the locking arrangement is designed in two parts for this purpose, wherein one part of the door and the other part is assigned to the counterpart. With the aid of a lock, the two parts can be secured together, thereby simultaneously locking the door and the counterpart to each other. This prevents unauthorized opening of the door. As a lock, for example, a padlock, in particular a so-called padlock (English: pad lock) is suitable.

Known locking arrangements of the type mentioned do not always provide the desired stability and security against breakage, or they are undesirably expensive to manufacture and therefore expensive.

From the US-A-5743118 a locking arrangement with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is known.

It is an object of the invention to provide a locking arrangement for locking a door on a counterpart, which has a simple structure and is inexpensive to manufacture, and yet provides a high security against breakage.

wobei an dem Oberteil oder dem Unterteil ein Haltemittel zum Halten eines Bügelschlosses vorgesehen ist;
wobei das Oberteil und das Unterteil in einer Gebrauchslage der Verriegelungsanordnung derart relativ zueinander positionierbar sind, dass die Sicherungsöffnung des Oberteils und die Sicherungsöffnung des Unterteils in Flucht angeordnet sind, um die beiden Sicherungsabschnitte mittels eines Schlossbügels aneinander sichern zu können;
wobei der Deckelabschnitt des Oberteils eine Schlüsselöffnung für ein frontseitiges Einführen eines Schlüssels aufweist; und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Oberteil und das Unterteil mehrere Seitenabschnitte aufweisen, die in der Gebrauchslage der Verriegelungsanordnung einen Aufnahmeraum für das Bügelschloss umfänglich umschließen.This object is achieved by a locking arrangement which has an upper part and a lower part, wherein the upper part has at least:

wherein the upper part and the lower part are positionable relative to one another in a position of use of the locking arrangement such that the securing opening of the upper part and the securing opening of the lower part are arranged in alignment in order to be able to secure the two securing sections to one another by means of a lock bracket;
wherein the lid portion of the upper part has a key opening for a front-side insertion of a key; and characterized in that the upper part and the lower part have a plurality of side portions which circumferentially enclose a receiving space for the U-lock in the position of use of the locking arrangement.

Such a locking arrangement is characterized by an upper part and a lower part, which can be attached to the door and to the counterpart - or vice versa. Both the upper part and the lower part have a respective securing portion with a securing opening, wherein the two securing portions are formed such that said openings in the position of use of the locking arrangement - that is, when the door is closed relative to the counterpart - are aligned. Thus, the two securing portions can be secured by means of a bracket of an associated U-lock to each other, thereby locking the door and the counterpart to each other. By means of the cover portion of the upper part of the U-lock can be covered here to protect the U-lock from manipulation attempts. In addition, several side sections of the upper part and of the lower part protect the U-lock in the position of use of the locking arrangement from the side, in particular in the region of the lock hanger. However, since the key opening is provided on the front lid portion of the upper part, the substantial points of attack can already be protected by the cover portion alone by the overlap of the lock by means of the lid portion of the upper part. In addition, this simplifies the handling for the authorized user quite significantly.

The various base sections and side sections as well as the cover section may be formed by plate-like, ie flat metal parts. In particular, the base portion, said first side portion and the lid portion of the upper part may be formed by a single punched / bent part, that is, by a one-piece folded sheet metal part, or even the entire upper part and the entire lower part are each formed by a one-piece sheet metal part bent at several folds. This results in a total of a special stable and at the same time easy to manufacture and thus cost locking arrangement.

The said U-lock can be part of the locking arrangement. Preferably, the U-lock is a turnbuckle lock with a circular segment-shaped rotatable bracket. This results in spite of the advantageous front-side operation (via the key opening on the lid portion of the upper part), a flat structure of the locking arrangement.

An advantage of the invention is that, in principle, a commercially available padlock can be used, for example, the padlock type "Diskus" of ABUS August Bremicker Söhne KG, Weather, Germany.

A further advantage of the invention is that such a padlock on the upper part or the lower part of the locking arrangement can be permanently held in such a way that the lock remains attached to the upper part or the lower part even when the lock strap is open, in particular if the relevant door is opened and the upper part and the lower part are separated from each other for this purpose. As a result, the handling of the locking arrangement is simplified in an advantageous manner, since for the locking and unlocking of the arrangement, the associated U-lock does not always have to be completely solved and, for example, held or stored by the user. In other words, the U-lock - even if it is purchased by the user as a separate item - always remain attached to the upper part or the lower part, so that the user, even if the door is to remain temporarily unlocked, only carry the key associated with the lock but not the castle itself.

In this context, it is preferred if the U-lock has a locking mechanism with closing constraint (English: key retaining). In this case, the key associated with the lock can only be removed from the lock when the locking mechanism - and thus the lock bracket - has been brought into a locked position. The user can thus conclude, without further visual inspection, solely from the fact that the key can be removed, that the upper part and the lower part of the locking arrangement (of course, if it is in the position of use) are properly secured together. This is particularly advantageous because the lid portion of the upper part - as explained - the lock substantially covers and thus, for example, the lock bracket is not readily visible.

Fig. 1a and 1b show a first embodiment of a locking arrangement with an upper part 11 and a lower part 13. The upper part 11 is provided for attachment to a door 15 (eg first door). The lower part 13 is provided for attachment to a counterpart 17 (eg second door, door frame or building wall). For this purpose, the upper part 11 has at a base portion 19 a plurality of mounting holes 21 through which fastening screws, fastening bolts, mounting rivets or the like can be performed. In a corresponding manner, a plurality of fastening openings 25 are formed on a base portion 23 of the lower part 13. On the base portion 19 of the upper part 11, a first side portion 27 is integrally formed, on which in turn a lid portion 29 is formed. Adjacent to the first side portion 27, a second side portion 33 is formed on the lid portion 29, which extends approximately along half of the respective side length of the lid portion 29. On the lid portion 29 of the upper part 11, a third side portion 39 is also integrally formed opposite to the first side portion 27. This has at its free longitudinal edge a mounting recess 41 for a below-mentioned retaining web. The first side portion 27 of the top 11 is angled orthogonally with respect to the base portion 19 and the lid portion 29, respectively, so that the base portion 19 and the lid portion 29 extend parallel to each other with the base portion 19 and the lid portion 29 extending from the first side portion 27 extend in opposite directions. At the base portion 23 of the lower part 13, moreover, a first side portion 49 and a second side portion 51 are formed respectively orthogonal to the base portion 23. The first side portion 49 ultimately serves to close the aforementioned receiving space for the turnbuckle lock. The second side portion 51 of the lower part 13 cooperates as an attachment aid with the fourth side portion 43 of the upper part 11 and serves to stabilize the locking arrangement in the position of use.

Fig. 1b shows the back of the upper part 11. In the already mentioned, provided on the back of the lid portion 29 receiving space 53 is now a turnbuckle lock 55 is attached. The turnbuckle lock 55 has a lock body 57 with a recess 59. The turnbuckle lock 55 can be fixed on the front side (not shown) by means of an associated key (likewise not shown) which is inserted through the front-side key opening 31 (FIG. The mounting of the swivel lock 55 on the upper part 11 by means of a holding web 63. The holding web 63 extends parallel offset to the cover portion 29 of the upper part 11 between the first side portion 27 and the third side portion 39. He has at one end an anchoring portion 65 which in an associated recess on the first side portion 27 of the upper part 11 - and adjacent to the base portion 19 - engages. The anchoring portion 65 may include, for example, a hooking tongue or a fastening screw. At the other end of the holding web 63 has, for example, a wedge portion 67 which is clamped to the mounting recess 41 of the third side portion 39 of the upper part 11. The door 15 is thus locked to the counterpart 17.

To unlock the locking arrangement of the turntable 61 of the turnbuckle lock 55 is moved back by appropriate operation by means of the associated key again from the recess 59, so that the two securing portions 35, 45 of the upper part 11 and the lower part 13 are released again and the upper part 11 of the Lower part 13 can be solved.

In the described position of use of the locking arrangement of the cover portion 29 of the upper part 11 covers the securing portion 35 of the upper part 11 and also the securing portion 45 of the lower part 13. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1a and 1b the protection of the turnbuckle lock 55 is particularly good because the receiving space 53 for the turnbuckle lock 55 in the illustrated position of use of the locking assembly on all peripheral sides of side portions 27, 33, 39, 43 of the upper part 11 and side portions 49, 51 of the lower part 13 is surrounded.

The explained locking arrangement can be produced in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner. Apart from the said turntable 61 of the turnbuckle lock 55, no moving parts are required, ie the different sections 19, 27, 29, 33, 35, 39, 43 of the upper part 11 can be provided in a rigid arrangement relative to each other. The same applies to the lower part 13 with the sections 23, 45, 49, 51. This also simplifies handling by the user, since no moving parts must be folded and, for example, folded over each other in a particular order.

Above all, the various sections 19, 27, 29, 33, 35, 39, 43 of the upper part 11 and the different sections 23, 45, 49, 51 of the lower part 13 may be formed as plate-shaped metal sections, so that a particularly simple processing is possible and the upper part 11 and the lower part 13 may be at least partially formed as a respective one-piece folded sheet metal part. In particular, the sections 19, 27, 29, 33, 39 and 43 may form a single stamped / bent part, wherein the individual sections are merely folded over at the connecting line to a respective adjacent section (see thinly drawn seams in FIG Fig. 1a ). The securing portion 35 of the upper part 11 may also be integrally formed on such a punched / bent part. Alternatively, however, it is also possible, for example, to form the securing section 35 with the securing opening 37 as an eyelet which is fastened, eg welded, to the rear side of the cover section 29 of the upper part 11, the securing section 45 with the securing opening 47 also being formed as an eyelet may be, which is attached to the base portion 23 of the lower part 13 - for example, welded - is. Another advantage is that the locking arrangement can cooperate with a commercially available padlock. The swivel lock 55 can therefore be an integral part of the locking arrangement. Fig. 3 also shows a mounting slot 69 on the base portion 19 of the lower part 13. Claims (27)

1. A locking arrangement for the locking of a door to a counterpart, having an upper part (11) and a lower part (13),
   wherein the upper part (11) at least comprises:

   - a base section (19) having at least one fastening means (21) which is provided at the base section (19) or at a fastening section connected to the base section (19);

   - a first side section (27) which is connected to the base section (19) and which is angled with respect to the base section;

   - a cover section (29) which is connected to the first side section (27) and which is angled with respect to the first side section; and

   - a securing section (35) which is angled with respect to the cover section (29) and which has a securing opening (37);

   wherein the lower part (13) at least comprises:

   - a base section (23) having at least one fastening means (25) which is provided at the base section (23) of the lower part or at a fastening section connected to the base section (23) of the lower part; and

   - a securing section (45) which is angled with respect to the base section (19) of the lower part and which has a securing opening (47);

   wherein a holding means (63, 69) is provided at the upper part (11) or at the lower part (13) to hold a hoop lock (55);
   wherein the upper part (11) and the lower part (13) can be positioned relative to one another in a position of use of the locking arrangement such that the securing opening (37) of the upper part and the securing opening (47) of the lower part are arranged in alignment to be able to secure the two securing sections (35, 45) to one another by means of a lock hoop (61); and

   wherein the cover section (29) of the upper part (11) in the position of use of the locking arrangement covers the securing section (35) of the upper part and the securing section (45) of the lower part.

   wherein the securing section (35) of the upper part substantially extends perpendicular to the cover section (29).
4. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
   wherein the securing section (45) of the lower part extends substantially perpendicular to the base section (23) of the lower part.
5. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
   wherein the securing section (35) of the upper part extends along a rear side of the cover section (29) of the upper part.
6. A locking arrangement in accordance with claim 5,
   wherein the securing section (45) of the lower part in the position of use of the locking arrangement likewise extends along the rear side of the cover section (29) of the upper part.
7. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
   wherein the base section (19) and the cover section (29) of the upper part extend in parallel with one another.
8. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
   wherein the base section (19) and the cover section (29) of the upper part extend in opposite directions starting from the first side section (27) of the upper part.
9. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
   wherein the first side section (27) of the upper part substantially extends perpendicular to the cover section (29).
10. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the upper part (11) furthermore has a second side section (33) to which the securing section (35) of the upper part is connected, with the second side section being connected to the first side section (27), to the cover section (29) or to a third side section (39) connected to the cover section, and wherein the second side section (33) is angled with respect to the cover section (29).
11. A locking arrangement in accordance with claim 10,
    wherein the second side section (33) of the upper part substantially extends perpendicular to the cover section (29).
12. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the upper part (11) has a side section (33, 39) which is connected to the cover section (29) of the upper part, disposed opposite the first side section (27) of the upper part, and extends substantially perpendicular to the cover section.
13. A locking arrangement in accordance with claim 12,

    wherein the locking arrangement has a hoop lock (55) which has a movable lock hoop (61) which in the position of use of the locking arrangement can be introduced into the securing opening (37) of the upper part and into the securing opening (47) of the lower part to secure the two securing sections (35, 45) to one another.

    wherein the hoop lock (55) is made as a rotatable hoop lock with a rotatably movable lock hoop (61).
20. A locking arrangement in accordance with claim 18 or claim 19,
    wherein the hoop lock (55) has a latching mechanism with key retaining.
21. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the claims 18 to 20,
    wherein in the position of use of the locking arrangement the cover section (29) of the upper part covers a front side of the hoop lock (55) at least in part.
22. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the holding means (63, 69) is configured to hold the hoop lock (55) at the upper part (11) or at the lower part (13) both when the upper part (11) and the lower part (13) are brought into the position of use and when the upper part (11) and the lower part (13) are brought into positions separate from one another.
23. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, wherein the sections (19, 27, 33, 39, 43) of the upper part and the sections (23, 49, 51) of the lower part are formed in platelike shape.
24. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the sections (19, 27, 33, 35, 39, 43) of the upper part are provided in a rigid arrangement relative to one another and wherein the sections (23, 45, 49, 51) of the lower part are provided in a rigid arrangement relative to one another.
25. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein at least the base section (19), the first side section (27) and the cover section (29) of the upper part (11) are formed by a one-piece folded sheet metal part.
26. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the upper part (11) and the lower part (13) are each formed by a one-piece folded sheet metal part.
27. A locking arrangement in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the at least one fastening means of the base section (19) of the upper part or of the base section (23) of the lower part comprises a fastening opening (21, 25) or a fastening bolt.
