Abstract

Vielmehr ist das gesamte Blutdruckmessgerät mit sämtlichen Bausteinen, die für Langzeitmessungen notwendig sind, zusammen mit der Manschette des Blutdruckmessgerätes an das jeweilige Körperglied anlegbar, so dass die Behinderung des Patienten durch das Messgerät als wesentlich geringer empfunden wird. Grundgedanke der Erfindung ist es, ein beim Patienten mit hypertonischer Vorgeschichte in der Regel vorhandenes Blutdruckmessgerät zur 24-Stunden-Messung zu nutzen. Dies vermeidet den Kostenaufwand bzw. einen Ausrüstungsengpass auf Seiten des Arztes, da dieser keine Geräte in seiner Praxis vorhalten muss. In Weiterbildung der Erfindung besitzt der Gerätekorpus des Blutdruckmessgeräts eine Schnittstelle, mit der eine einsetz- und entfernbare Speicherkarte für Langzeitmessungen, insbesondere eine Chipkarte in Form einer SmartCard und/oder eine Memory ,Card, verbindbar ist. Hierdurch kann das Blutdruckmessgerät durch Einsetzen der Speicherkarte für Langzeitmessungen erweitert werden. Das Grundgerät an sich kann als herkömmliches Heimmessgerät ausgebildet sein. Durch Ausrüstung mit dem Zusatzmodul kann es ggf. auch nachträglich für Langzeitmessungen adaptiert werden, um sowohl die Steuereinrichtung des Geräts für das Messprozedere einer Langzeitmessung auszurüsten als auch das notwendige Speichervolumen zur Abspeicherung der Vielzahl von Messdaten zur Verfügung zu stellen. Durch diese modulare Bauweise wird das Grundgerät nicht mit überflüssigen Kosten belastet. Zudem können durch Einsetzen verschiedener Speicherkarten in einfacher Weise verschiedene Langzeit-Messstrategien verwirklicht werden.
Die Speicherkarte kann hierbei verschiedene Funktionen übernehmen. Nach einer Ausführung der Erfindung bildet die Speicherkarte zumindest teilweise die Speichereinrichtung zur Abspeicherung der Blutdruckdaten. Zusätzlich oder alternativ zu einer Ausbildung als reine Speicherkarte kann auf der einsetzbaren Karte zumindest teilweise auch die Steuereinrichtung zur automatischen Aktivierung der Messvorrichtung in vorgebbaren Zeitintervallen vorgesehen sein.
