FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a personalized blister pack according to the invention 20. This is designed as a so-called weekly blister for supplying a person or a patient with medicines and similar products such as vitamin supplements, dietary supplements, etc. for a period of one week. Of course, the invention is not limited to a specific period of time. For each day of the week in the total matrix-shaped blister pack 20 a detachable by a perforation line of 24 in the example shown four receiving compartments 22 are provided, each of the applied products for "early", "noon", "evening" or "at night" or for breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime. Depending on the field of application, a different number of storage compartments 22 may be provided, for example, three storage compartments for each meal before, during or after the particular meal.

The - in the in FIG. 1 shown embodiment - a total of 28 storage compartments 22 are made of a preferably transparent thermoplastic material inexpensively in mass production by deep drawing and have enough space for a plurality of tablets, capsules, dragees, etc. All receiving compartments 22 can by a common film 25, for example. A thin Aluminum foil, be closed and be provided with symbols for the collection time (morning, noon, evening, night). By tearing the thin foil, the patient can comfortably remove the products to be taken at the time of day.

Through the perforation 24 of both the receiving compartments 22 forming plastic plate and the film 25 can be separated from the blister pack 20 day strips for convenient driving.

The personalized blister pack 20 may be provided with an identifier 29 associated with the respective patient, for example as a barcode is trained. Other types of personal identifiers are also possible.

To protect the blister pack and possibly for printing prescription information, the blister pack as in the WO 2005/102862 described one (in FIG. 1 not shown) have hinged lid. The blister pack 20 is still as in FIG FIG. 1 illustrated with a memory device 50, in which the application data of the storage compartments and possibly other products such as dietary supplements, ointments, etc. are stored. The storage device 50 can be designed as a single-use memory for single use for the period of use of the blister pack (for example, a week) or as multiple times writable memory that is returned to the pharmacy after the week for further use or by remote data transmission for will be updated next week.

The storage device 50 may be removably attached to the blister pack 20 with adhesives, hook-and-loop fastener, fastener tape, or the like so that the patient can easily detach them from the blister pack without damaging the blister sheet 25. The storage device may have a carrying device such as the illustrated fastening strap 60, so that the patient can, for example, hang the storage device around his neck or otherwise carry him with him.

The essential elements of an embodiment of the memory device 50 according to the invention will now be described with reference to the block diagram of FIG FIG. 2 explained. The memory device has a memory element 52, which as mentioned may be a write once or a rewritable memory. For example, an EPROM or flash memory device may be used, and other memory technologies - such as those known from smart cards - may also be used.

Furthermore, the memory device 50 has an interface unit 54, which allows a description of the memory with the product application data. The interface 54 may also be designed to update the data stored in the memory element 52, for example by infrared, Bluetooth, wireless LAN or a mobile network.

Furthermore, the memory device 50 comprises a timer 56 and an output unit 58 in order to realize a reminder function for the patient. Based on the application data of the patient stored in the memory element 52, which contains the intake period of the respective medication (morning, noon, evening, night), possibly with respect to the respective meals (before, during or after the meal), the timer 56 supplies Signal to the Ausgeabeeinrichtung 58, which then emits a warning signal. In the example shown, the output device 58 is a miniaturized loudspeaker that emits a beep, or better, a synthesized speech signal with specific application notes, such as "take a red tablet before lunch," or "take heart remedies for dinner." The volume can be adjustable by means of a (not shown) control device. Alternatively, of course, an optical output device may be used, which outputs the application notes on a small display. However, the most comfortable reminder function for the patient should be possible with the help of speech synthesis.

In the memory device, personal identification data associated with the respective patient are stored in addition to the application data. The output device 58 can output these for the user / patient for checking.

The memory device 50 may be designed to be inexpensive and space and weight-saving, such as a SIM card of a mobile phone. For power supply, a (in FIG. 2 not shown) power supply unit such as a small battery or a capacitor may be provided. The Memory element 50, however, can also be designed as a passive element in accordance with an RFID chip and receive radio frequency signals via the interface unit 54 provided with a radio frequency antenna and also use these for power supply.

For safe handling, the storage device is provided with a waterproof, washable and impact-resistant, yet inexpensive housing, for example. Made of plastic.

In addition, it may be possible to additionally suppress the reminder signal (possibly disturbing) by pressing a key or the like for a certain period of time, such as 10 minutes. Such functionality is known, for example, with alarm clocks. The suppressed signal can then be output later with a time delay to later remind the patient of the (possibly missed) product application.

In order to check the prescription-compliant drug application (compliance), it is furthermore possible to provide an acknowledgment key (not shown), by means of which the patient acknowledges the prescription of the medication. Alternatively, a sensor device may be provided for this purpose, which detects a tearing of the corresponding film section for each of the receiving compartments 22 and thus closes on the prescription-related medication application.

Based on the read application data, in a further method step S5, these application data are also stored on a memory device 50 assigned to the respective patient, and the memory device is then attached to the packaging unit 20 in step S6. Of course, the method steps S5 and S6 can also be performed in reverse order of time.

In the further method step S7, the correspondence of the personal identification data stored in the storage device with the identifier 29 attached to the packaging unit is checked. Thus, a verification of the correctness of the assignment of packaging unit 20 with the stored in the memory device 50 application data can be done so that the patient in any case its associated products and application data are delivered.

The blister packs (eg weekly blister) produced in such a fast, safe and reasonably priced manner are delivered to the respective pharmacies, who then provide the weekly blisters provided with the storage element to the respective patient. The storage device 50 can also contain application data of products that are not delivered with the blister, for example, ointments, medicinal teas, bath treatments or the like. According to a variant of the invention, as mentioned, it may also be provided that the application data on the storage device is preferably updated wirelessly, for example by means of a special mobile radio signal or also a Bluetooth or infrared interface provided in the pharmacy.

The invention thus enables the fast, safe and inexpensive supply of a large number of patients with the individually prescribed product or drug composition.
